Beautiful old building, very stately. Rooms are simple but very clean.
We enjoyed time in the Spa in the afternoon. The only downside is that to get to it you have to go out of the main entrance and across the forecourt to reach it. 
The meal was out off this world. Everything cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. The staff were all lovely, both professional and polite and we had a fabulous night. Looking forward to our next visit.

Very nice course to play on. Lots of difficult lies and something for everyone. Also quite open for those wayward drivers like myself. Enjoyed my round

Afternoon tea with family.
Three normal diet, one milk free, one gluten free.
Beautiful building with a cosy welcoming atmosphere.
Parking facilities. 
Friendly professional staff.
Nothing was too much trouble, making our visit a wonderful experience.

got a package deal for me and my wife. first day started fine. used the gym ,sauna , pool etc.nice and quiet very relaxing. the room was small but ok for one night. the evening meal was good except we were restricted to 4 choices because we were on a package deal. bar was very expensive. next morning breakfast was spot on. went to use the spa facilities again only to greeted by a kids swimming lesson which lasted for 2 hours. all the parents sat around. some on the side of the Jacuzzi. not very relaxing at all. swimming lessons on a Sunday when the hotel is full of paying guests who want a bit of relaxation. won't be coming back again but will try somewhere else

Nice n relaxing spar but changing rooms so could do with a make over afternoon tea was excellent
