A lot of people recommend this place as an alternative to the Liberty store for purchasing Liberty fabric more inexpensively. However, at only 2 gbp cheaper per metre (tana lawn at 20gbp), I don't think it's worth the trek out from the Liberty store (a walk, a tube ride, and a further decent walk). While the range really was impressive, the staff were cold and not overly helpful (despite not being busy), and I didn't really feel like I was getting a bargain. Same as the Liberty store, the minimum cut is .5m

Nothing wrong with the slection of fabrics. However, customer service is awful. They are so unhelpful. Drinking beverages and checking email allowing me the customer to wonder around with offer of help. When I asked for assistance I was advised to go downstairs. Downstairs I asked for assistance and I was advised to go upstairs. The staff do not speak at all or acknowledge you. They simly shrug and say they don't know. Fortunately I know what I am looking for. But I'd rather purchase it somewhere else than from these rude people that have no sense of customer care of interaction skills

This is a fabulous place, upstairs and downstairs. They have the most incredible range of Liberty prints and lawns - I always go there to get materials to be made up overseas. Highly recommend a visit if you like classic and stylish prints and fabrics. The staff are uber-helpful and very knowledgeable about their stock which makes every visit a pleasure. It's air conditioned too.

Good selection of Liberty prints and the service was good. However, at £20 a metre for Tana Lawn I'd rather just go to Libertys and spend the extra £2. I believe Fabrics Galore on Lavender Hill sells them for £15 a metre, which is much closer to what I was expecting!
