I really loved this hotel. The rooms were light, spacious and clean. The bathrooms had a good sized walk-in shower. The access to the bedrooms was great. It was great to see USB sockets in the room. The food was plentiful and of a good standard. It was served efficiently and the staff were perfectly courteous. The communal areas were again light & spacious, and drinks in the bar were kept well. We didn't see any of the evening entertainment but others travelling with us thoroughly enjoyed it. The swimming pool was amazing. I could have spent all day there.
We travel here each year for a Masonic Ladies' Weekend. Outstanding value and great fun. Always a delight to return to friendly staff and efficient service Noteworthy details: Now wi-fi in all rooms
Hotel staff stole my husbands watch, after I reported this to the main hotel staff nothing was done about this. I have since chased it up over and over again. No answer. I would highly avoid staying here and if you do keep your belongings with you at all times. Rooms also had a stale odour and were changed at the last minute by staff.
Stayed here before but early March bad weather! Staff very good. sea/town not far away. Bus to Newport then able to get anywhere on IOW!Rooms: 3/5
When I asked for a Latte with oat milk, they come back with a herbal tea with cows milk. The majority of FOH staff needs sacking. Cannot do a competent job. More like incompetent.Rooms: 1/5
With Alfa holidays, excellent place to stay. Food good. Can't fault the lovely friendly staff
The food is very good and service brilliant staff very friendly. Can't understand people only giving it a 1 or 2 star rating, they maybe used to London hotels. We come on these trips quite often and only had 1 bad experience that was with a different company. Alfa company very good.Rooms: 4/5
We enjoyed 8 great days here. Although rated a 3 star hotel, it can better many so called 4&5 star hotels. Superb value for having staff that care for you; many choices at meal times; enjoyable entertainment, lovely sea view rooms & restaurant. Throw in, coach travel & excursions with a careful & considerate driver - That's Alfa for unbeatable value
The place was nice and the bed was comfy, the pool was not busy but it could have been more clean. The breakfast was not too many options but the main dish was enough. The staff was nice and helpful. One suggestion is to change the rooms interior light fixtures into sunny they were white and give me the sense of being at hospital.Rooms: 4/5
Good staff,food good but rooms basic with cleaning standards need improving.
