Nice ambience and attentive service but my Sunday roast was very disappointing. Pork was ok but no crackling with it, Yorkshire pud so tasteless I left it, broccoli too hard to eat and carrots only just edible. Parsnips soggy and roast potatoes, whilst nice and crispy, were enormous! I left most of those too. Only a modicum of gravy was poured on the meal, my fault for not requesting it served separately. Don't think I'll eat there again, at least not for Sunday lunch!

Went on a Friday at 4, so no rush hour crowd but staff were lovely and opened kitchen 2 hours early for us - we certainly weren't the only people here! Good selection of local and fancy alcohol too. Overall very pleasant experience!

Pleasant enough country pub, nothing outstanding for a Thursday evening drink. Attractive building.

Great place to meet up with friends for a meal and a chat. Pity the fish pie hadn't had enough sauce with it, quite dry.

Fantastic meal and excellent service. The pub is a really nice place to eat, whether it be a quiet meal for two, or a larger group.
