Over the years we have sold quite a few of our items at Sellitt & Soon but just lately we were not pleased at how my wife and I were treated when we went to collect our money for items already sold, and collect items that had not yet sold (Thursday 17th November). What was concerning and disappointing was his attitude and rude behaviour towards us for wanting our money. We were initially told that we could not have the money for another week as their policy was not to give pay-outs there and then. This had never been a problem in the past. The elderly chap behind the counter also said that he could only draw out so much from the bank each day and that we would still have to wait. He did however finally agree for us to come back at the end of the day on Saturday 19th November, but with no guarantees. We did get our full money this afternoon without any fuss - so thanks for that. But beware - if you have something that you want them to sell then please bare in mind that they will take 30% for the privilege, and that your items may be sold for less than your initial asking price. Unless of course you give them permission to sell the item/s for less - we did not enter any such agreement but some of our stuff was reduced by them in price. Also - don't expect immediate payment for Your sold item/s. Sellitt & Soon have been good in the past - but based on this recent experience we will not be dealing with them again.

It's okay with not too bad quality stock BUT for second hand goods they're rather expensive.
