Terrible service in shop + landlord. Had to wait over 3 MONTHS for my deposit to be returned due to my landlord not recording the electric meter to the property. Took nearly half of the deposit back even after signing the property off in perfect condition. Didn't use the Deposit Protection service as stated in the contract. I am in process of taking RPMS and the landlord to court.The Deposit Protection Service responded to me and my contact I sent them: Rental Property Address: 2a St Andrew Street, HU17 0NS "Thank you for your recent enquiry. As previously advised, having checked our database for records using the details you have provided, it would appear that we are not currently protecting, nor have we ever protected a deposit for you at the above address."

Having passed the shop on several occasions my partner was interested to go and have a look around for ideas for our new home, and specifically with a view to looking at curtains. On arrival it became apparent that the shop clerk had very little time for us and on several occasions commented that items were likely out of our budget and unattainable. This was prior to her having any understanding of our budget or what our requirements were. My partner asked the lady to provide a ballpark figure for made to measure curtains and the women said she did not know but that they would be very expensive. I left with a feeling that this shop thought it was by far and above the standard of anyone below the age of 50, and will not go back, or recommend it to anyone. What i will do however is purchase products which they sell directly from the suppliers online with a hope of better customer service. If I could give no stars I would.
