Recently had a horrific experience. Bought a car which seemed fine, to wake up in the morning and the car doesn't start along with a massive fuel leak. Took the car back to the garage to get it fixed ... I collected it & realised nothing at all had been fixed, just a massive scuff down the side and on the front bumper had appeared. Took the car to a trusted garage and they said it needed the following .. 3x injectors Lift pump Water pump 3x tyres Fuel leak sorted This will amount to at least £800! The guy who is the 'boss' was extremely aggressive towards us on a number of occasions. After being in contact with trading standards, the car was returned and a refund given. A hour later, the car is straight back on the website for sale ... Absolutely disgusted as it isn't road Worthy at all. AVOID this garage!!

#WARNING TO ALL# WORST PLACE EVER AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!! the so called manager jo is an absolute cowboy hes rude and clearly is in the wrong proffesion as he has no people skills at all ive phoned on a few occasions due to buying a car off him which has turned out to be absolute waste of money the car has been a problem from pretty much day one and it still isnt even running and he is denying all fault or even trying to sort the problem out!!!!!! Ive unfortunatly had to give 1 star rating(WHICH IS MORE THEN ITS WORTH) as it doesnt give you the option to give no stars!!!!!!!completly gutted and feel let down massively

Though reasonably pleased with the car I purchased at the time I then found that 2 tyres had been reverse fitted so that the inner edges of the worn tyres couldn't be seen and fitted to the rear. so I believe they were switched after I checked the car and before I collected it. The warranty isn't worth the paper it was printed on as I am still waiting for a replacement aircon motor to be fitted which was broken when I bought it. I was given the usual tripe of "It just needs recharging" because they obviously new it needed replacing. 6 months later and I'm still waiting.

Bought a car through finance , had it a week drive shaft snapped yeah joe the ‘BOSS’ did pay to have it repaired , everything was going fine for a month or so then my car breaks down due to a seized engine timing chain snapped, month down the line my car is still in the same place broken down and joe expected me to get the car up to him, also was told its serviced it’s had no such thing never had the locking wheel nut avoid these cowboys!!!!!

Test drove car - had to discuss finances with wife. On returning it, salesman talked me into putting £200 'refundable' deposit down to prevent car from being sold to anyone else - carbase offer a refundable deposit scheme to secure vehicles, and we had 3 test drives booked with them the following day. £200 was in fact not refundable, so whilst we like the car, and it hasn't given any issues 2 weeks in, it is somewhat over budget. Typical car sales people - not to be trusted, go with your gut.
