Great place for equine supplies - always plenty of feed and shavings at a good price, plus equipment, clothing and rugs etc. All the staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, making it much more of a community store. It's a real shame that they've gone into administration and might be closing because of a stupid decision by the CMA - that a merger with their main rival would reduce competition - now their rivals will have a monopoly anyway at lower cost! Hopefully if Countrywide as a whole aren't rescued, as such a busy store this one and its brilliant staff are picked up by the rival - as it would be a great loss to the community if they do close.
