The communication and delivery times are ok. The pick-up was a week late which was ok and they offered £10 off but never received the actual discount. What is upsetting is the state my bike came back in. The pain work is covered in grease / oil splatter and my grip is not only damaged but covered in black grease. My grip are bright yellow and I really don't appreciate not looking after my bike. My camera holder came loose and moved out of position. I have not had the chance to try the bike yet but I have my doubts just after visual inspection. Definitely would not use again.
Having paid £285 for a service from Havebike in May 2021 2 months ago at time of writing, I had had to since replace both the bottom bracket which Havebike themselves 'replaced' and the crank arm. They did such a bad job replacing it, they removed one of the seals of the bottom bracket to the crank arm, which then meant that both the bottom bracket and the crank arm have managed to worn away and they've had to be replaced. On top of this, I have also experienced issued with the brakes, and the gearing since - over 2 months POST servicing. Avoid these people at all costs. Expensive mistake.
Seemed like a good service, easy to arrange and make payment. Not so easy to get hold of anyone when you need to make a change to your booking. Don’t be fooled by the “fastest option” on the website which was a web chat- it opens a form to ask your question and you’ll be lucky if you get a response. Emailing was also an issue, no reply for 4 days. Having said that the bike was returned when originally requested, not on the new date I was hoping to push it out to. I can see new pedals and apparently I needed both wheels realigning. The check sheet that comes with the bike looks like a pretty thorough job. Was a bit more expensive than taking it to a local place but then you’re paying for convenience. Would have been nice however if support had replied to my request to change the delivery date.
Very professional service. I purchased a bike on an outlet and Havebike set up the bike for me from assembly to run all necessary security checks to make it safe for riding. They keep the customer continuously posted about when they're checking the bike, when it's ready and when they collect/deliver: it is a very professional service worth the money you pay for! All drivers have been very kind and professional: when my bike was delivered there was a small part missing and when I noticed it, the driver immediately checked pictures of collection, confirmed and said he would have brought it me on the following day. I will surely become a regular customer!
What a great service! It is sometimes hard to find a place to service an electric bike but I could get it done at Havebike. The process is so easy! You book online, pick the day, you get an email the day before to give you a time slot and a call from the person picking up/returning the bike within an hour of arrival. You also get an email during the service to advise you of any additional costs including specifications on what is essential vs. optional. It is just an all round great service. Will definitely use again for my other bikes.
Very poor service and misleading experience. I ordered and paid for a check-up service for my bike and Havebike came back with a proposed bill of over 450£ in addition to the 59£ I already paid. They wouldn't do any work on the bike unless all the items considered critical were accepted, with most of the items highly overprices - for example the quote for replacing the tires was 132£, a service which I didn't asked for and I insisted could do myself. After several attempts to call, messages and unanswered emails I got my bike back but they kept part of the money paid for no service. I felt not supported and defrauded.
Communication was absolutely excellent, constant emails and updates about my bike and it was fixed and sent back within 4 days part had to be ordered so took an extra two days for that. It was more expensive than I expected but I am not a regular to a bike service so not sure if it’s the going rate but I’m happy with it. Bike looks gorgeous and rides like a dream. I’d recommend them if anything it’s convenient for someone who can’t get to a bike shop. I even asked for a personalised drop off in a secure location and they did it. Thanks Again:
Great service, good communication and excellent customer service. The bike was serviced, fixed in a couple of days and came back like new! The guy, that collected and delivered, my bike was super friendly and polite. I really raccomend Havebike.
Was due to receive my bike back yesterday morning, didn't arrive or receive any confirmation of delay. Have attempted to call on multiple occasions, use the "chat" function and sent emails to try and ascertain where my bike is. Can't get through and emails and chats not replied to. Appalling customer service. If there are delays, communicate, don't leave the customer hanging around. Do not use this company, your bike could go missing for days and you would be non the wiser. Unacceptable.
Theo and the have bike were brilliant. Super fast and convenient service. The quality of the repairs were brilliant. They are also very flexible, I sent my bike in to get a couple of new inner tubes, they let me know a whole host of work required on it but were able to work with me to find just the right amount of service needed to get me back on the move without taking too big a hit at one time. Highly recommend
