Always perfect. Friendly staff lovely restaurant plenty of room. I was not a fan of fish and chips until I came here. These people really know what they are doing and how to treat customers well. They even have proper Heinz tomato sauce! They have survived 27 years without my opinion so they clearly don't need my help and it will probably make the queue even longer but i have nothing but good thing to say about them. Excellent.

The 2 course lunch deal was really worth it. Had the grilled cod (being health conscious), fresh and nicely cooked. Such a big portion.

Excellent fish very fresh with nicely crisp batter.Sadly hard, tasteless, very undercooked chips. We have tried using them periodically over many years but the chips are always horrible. Sorry but tried them again today 11/4/18 but just as disappointing. Try using Maris Piper and cook till golden.

Best Fish and chip shop in the area!! Good quality fish and chips. Homemade tartare sauce and the avocado salad is the best i had! we love coming here for our take away on a Saturday. Always busy as well in the restaurant which is fantastic!

My girl and i have been here a few times and it's always been good. This time however things were a little different. All was fine but when we ordered the fish we were asked grilled or fried. We were not told the difference. In the end we changed it to grilled. The baked beans she ordered were cold and arrived quite a while after the main course, so they had to go back. Her desert custard was cold, so that had to go back to be heated up. The woman on the table next to us had asked for her milk to be hot for her coffee, that arrived cold. People just do not listen anymore and for a resturant like this, it's just not good enough. Although the fish was absolutely amazing, we will not be coming back for a very long time. Shame really as this WAS one of my favourite resturants.
