Had a wonderful 9 night family holiday in our tent. Site was very well kept, all facilities were kept very clean & tidy. Views are amazing, lovely walk down to the fleet lagoon. Location is a great base point to explore the area. Yes the rules MIGHT seen excessive, however this makes for a very pleasant stay, if you are looking for a lively site this is NOT for you but on the same hand they do not stop any one having fun/kids playing etc...... Will definitely be visiting again, thank you.
A lovely weekend Escape with beautiful views ! When we arrived we asked for a pitch closer to the view and we were given a great spot ! Pitch one The showers and toilets were really clean and well kept. The cows came and said hello most evenings and were very friendly and cute. Our dogs loved it and were very welcomed. Great farm walk leading to the costal path. Highly recommend visiting Lugger Inn, great little pub with good food and you can walk there on road or over fields. Lady working in the sister site shop across the road was very helpful. Will be back again and highly recommend.
As a family we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Barn Farm, so much so we booked an extra night. The pitches are spacious and the facilities are spotless. If you like quiet family friendly sites with stunning views and beautiful walks then this one is for you. We'll definitely be back.
What a super campsite. We loved the calm quiet feel especially at night. Yes it was windy at times but some days were still and really sunny. You can't complain really when you have such a superb sunset to view. Spotless toilets and wash areas. Staff were helpful and courteous and we'll definitely be back!
A spacious site with large pitches, some with views. Reasonable facilities and a small shop. I would give it more stars but for the miserable old crone in reception. These two rules made me smile..."Teenagers must return to their parents no later than 10.30pm" and "...whispers could disturb your neighbours". A good number of the pitches are level so that's a good thing. I'm editing this review several days later.... I wrote this slightly tongue-in-cheek review the day before we were due to leave. That was stupid. About 30 minutes after I submitted the review, the charmless woman on reception threatened me with retribution to be carried out by her husband who apparently is over 6ft. tall. Sea Barn Farm isn't a bad site, but there are better. Prospective customers can draw their own conclusions about the quality of staff employed at this site.
We felt like we'd struck gold when we arrived and pitched up in our chosen spot at this campsite. We just got home yesterday after spending the weekend. We didn't see the owners during our stay but on arrival our pitch details were in a box to next to the reception door. As we chose a non electric pitch we could park our little camper anywhere within the non electric field and so chose a place next to the hedge over looking Fleet Lagoon and with West Bay in the distance. Were we in for a treat at sunset, I've never seen such stunning colours. There were two different shower and toilet blocks, the one nearest us was a bit old and the other one which was nearest the entrance was much more modern but both were spotlessly clean, the older block seemed to have the more powerful of the showers. If you're looking for peace and tranquility and a place to get away from the hurly burly then this place is great and I can't recommend it highly enough. We'll hopefully be back next year early season for a longer stay
This is our 2nd time we stayed for two weeks. The site is well looked after with short grass. The toilets and showers are always immaculate throughout the day & evenings - cleaners are keeping up the standard. There's 2 toilets/shower blocks one older than the other but both are fine. Some pitch over look Chesil Beach and the sunsets are AMAZING. We noticed the breeze to drop around teatime. A lot of the pitches are on the flat with a few on a slight slope but we didn't find this to be any trouble at all.The pitches are huge and set out. The rules to this site are strict but again this was no problems at all.
Loved this site, stayed here midweek in July and had amazing weather. Lovey huge level pitch with fantastic view. Do not understand all the negative reviews about rules, no more rules than any other campsite we've stayed in and what we would expect, its only about being respectful of other campers. This really is a lovely quiet site and has the most amazing sunset views. And to all of those moaning about it being windy on occasions, you're up on a hill looking out to sea!!! What do you expect...this is down to mother nature, not the site!! We will definitely be back, one of our favourite sites so far.
I have been here regularly over the years camping walking, and visiting places like the Abbotsbury Swannerry, the Sub Tropical gardens. The views are lovely of the fleet. The site is well laid out and caters for all motor homes, tents and caravans. Quiet site with access to outdoor pool next door, on West Fleet a centre for entertainment is available for Sea barn campers as well. The site shop has limited hours. However the west fleet shop is open to shoppers from sea barn farm for longer periods. The entertainment centre has evening entertainment in peak season. Food can be purchased and a bar. Basic meals like Burger, Wraps, jacket potatoes with a small salad but won't break the bank as small meals for kids. Online Booking in advanced only, no turn up and bookings allowed.. A lovely place to access many local amenities well worth a visit good toilet blocks, and other facilities, it's a firm favourite of mine and love some of the walks and will be back again many more times.
I would highly recommend Seabarn Camping site for families and dog owners , the site is very well maintained, the facilities are very clean , the views are spectacular, with the option of going around the fields looking out to Chesil Beach .I cannot fault this place ,there's a park suitable for under 12s , washing facilities avaliable, small fee for washing machine and tumble dryer, a bath ! Showers and hairdryers free of charge .BBQ permitted , everyone must settle down by 10.30pm . The reception is very small but also hosts shopping for essentials . You ll get given your tent tag and information leaflet on checking in . Very pleasant staff . If you come out of camp theres a local Aldi and public houses to eat out .I would definitely stay there again !! Playground: A standard play ground that is perfect for under 12s Restrooms: The cleanliness is impeccable Dog-friendliness: Very satisfied, dogs are advised to be on the leash at all times .
