This is without doubt one of my very favourite restaurants in London. The food is exceptional and the service always friendly yet professional. Very good value as well considering the depth of the cookery and quality of ingredients used. Would highly recommend!!
My favourite restaurant in London favourite restaurant full stop! Scully pairs classic and unique flavours that will have you come back again and again, keen to try what you didn't order on the menu last time. The tasting menu is a must with the vegan and vegetarian options on offer well worth ordering as well if you're dining as two. The selection and pairing of wines on offer is fantastic and the service from the team is welcoming and professional.
The dishes and the flavours are really special and something you won’t get everyday. Loved the way food was displayed. The fish we had was simply “wow”. We had a very nice evening at this place. However have to deduct one star as initially we were seated at a table next to the kitchen although other tables were available and we had reserved up front. We were also reminded before ordering dessert that we would have to leave within the next 15 min due to the next reservation coming up.
It was the first time ever I sat at a chef’s table and loved every second of it, I saw a lot of learning, teaching, and collaboration going on in the kitchen, and I guess seeing this kind of work environment made me enjoy my meal even more. I started with tenderstem broccoli which was cooked just right - leaving a little bit of crunch. The soy aged sea trout was amazing too, with a bit of spiciness and saltiness complimented by acidity and subtle flavours of the kohlrabi and cucumber salad. Will definitely be back next time I'm in London!
Great food. No scratch that. Amazing food! We were there pre theater. They planned the food perfect so we were finished right on time. Great friendly staff! The prices matches the quality! Go there! Modern fusion Malaysian restaurant, every dishes was really tasty. Everyone in the restaurant were so friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Recommend trying when you are in town.
Really innovative and delicious food. I look forward to returning to try other dishes. Everything was quite good and arepas are a must.
Great food, unique fusion taste profiles. Some dishes are better than others. Doesn’t get a 5 star because it lacks in the value for money department. Would 100% recommend nevertheless!
Scully is such a talented chef! He uses his own fermented produces and makes them into great dishes. If you decide to eat only one evening in London let it be this place. You will not regret! Tip: he wrote the book Nopi together with Yotam Ottolenghi.
