Don't be fooled by initial impressions that suggest it's a relatively small place. As you go from one room to the other, the sheer scale of this bar is a sight to behold. The vibe of the place is fantastic and the live music in the evenings was a ton of fun! Highly recommend!
Great energy and vibes. The place felt like something out of this world. But we are here to talk about this amazing Pie of slow cooked Ox in Guinness, which in few words was outstanding. This was the “traditional” dish we were looking for while on our small trip. Definitely returning to try some few more things!
Loved this place! Good points: Very clean and tidy, toilets were of good standard, prices were average for area and staff were very friendly. The pub itself was amazing and really promoted its heritage. A huge 'tree' is in the center of the seating area with lots of little nooks filled with Irish themed items related to waxy himself. Irish music playing the whole time which was fab and a large TV displayed the football. Bad points: Unfortunately NO cash payments were taken which is very disappointing for tourists. Lots and lots of steps too. Seating areas are on multiple levels so not very wheelchair friendly. Overall: great experience and would definitely visit again if in the area.
A lovely pub. A bit like Dr Who's Tardis. The exterior is much smaller than the interior. There is a tiny entrance going down into a cavernous and multi level, warren like Irish bar. Aboulutely, loved the ambiance and quirkiness of this place.Food: 5/5
One of my favorite pub in London! Guinness is delicious but if you don’t like it then try the Camden Pale. 2 beers £15
We got there just after shop had been opened. Lovely atmosphere, awesome decoration. We been really surprised as we never seen a proper pub like this before. Staff was lovelyFood: 5/5
Cold, dark and bleak Wednesday in Jan. Still has live music and a cracking atmosphere. Best Irish pub in London by a Dublin mile. On my top 5 things to do in London.
Absolutely amazing bar. Literally a Warren of staircases, levels, nooks and crannies. Every turn brings another surprise, another space another bar. Cannot wait to go back.
The place is amaaaaazing from the inside. As soon as you walk in your will be like wooow I didnt expect that. Good variety of beers. Would definitely go again
Had no idea what to expect. This bar was recommended by a local. ABSOLUTELY loved it. Drinks are a bit pricier, but it is an incredible establishment
