One of London's oldest steak houses

Story

Rowley’s, founded in 1977, has already established an international reputation for its unique steak speciality served with a secret recipe herb butter sauce and an unlimited supply of French Fries. Many of our regular customers come from all over the world to enjoy the tasty food, aromatic wines, lovely ambience and a very warm welcome from our dedicated and friendly staff.

The original Rowley’s Restaurant, at 113 Jermyn Street, is in the actual building where the now famous Walls meat business was founded in 1812 by Richard Wall.

If you want to try proper posh fish & chips that you won’t be ashamed to tell your healthy diet obsessed friends about - head to Rowley’s. Great place, tasty food.
Chips are nice, but the steaks are pretty average, there is no different at all between medium & medium rare ribeye steak, they just all tasted medium cooked or even a little well done. it’s definitely not worth 34 pounds each steak. Totally rip off I would say
Food is delicious. Service was perfect, the team is friendly and efficient. Thank you very much Adrian and his team we had a lovely lunch.
Rowley's is "the" place for meals and drinks that taste as good as they look! House special steak is still special to me after many visits over the years. Berry Brother claret and French peas are top notch, too.
Food was very good. Reasonable prices. Chateaubriand for 2 at 45£ with sides included is a good offer. Excelent service.
Great service but the food was cold, chips didn't arrive until ten minutes after the small and very overpriced steak. Heapest wine was £36 and was pretty average will not go again. It was a birthday bash and wasn't fun!
Used to be great. Last visited late 2019 and things were off; higher prices, poor service and cold food. Our waiter told me that the last crew all quit together and the new staff had to learn on the job, but wouldn't say more than that.
Had a fab date night here with attentive and friendly staff, great chateaubriand, delicious dessert. A warm, welcoming and very satiating experience!!
