This should make you laugh; Bought the American standard La-Z-Boy electric recliner after been told by two of the store employees that these things are bullet proof. I weigh 13st myself (6ft tall) so nothing too crazy. Sofa was made to order so waited about 8 weeks for delivery. Lie No.1) Sofa delivered separately from rest of our order even though we were told at the time of buying it would definitely be delivered all together. Lie No.2) We took the extended warranty out which covers the electronics etc with priority engineers should anything go wrong. Two weeks for an engineer to visit and then another four to six weeks for the replacement part (new motor needed on left hand side of sofa). Lie No.3) We needed an engineer to visit after the left hand side motor stopped working. Engineer was a pensioner who moaned about his job and the company he worked for. Lie No.4) The engineer had about three replacement motors in his van. Non of which fitted or worked. Engineer had to refit out broken motor before leaving me saying his company would be in touch within the next 10 days. Lie No.5) The UK clearly doesn't hold stock as we were then quoted four to six weeks for a replacement motor. Lie No.6) During our four to six weeks wait for the LHS motor to be replaced the right hand side motor packed in too. Lie No.7) After threatening to return the product under not fit for use we had an engineer come out within two days. He came and fitted a new motor to the RHS but could not deal with the LHS motor. Lie No.8) We were told the combination of ScS and La-Z-Boy was a marriage made in heaven. Absolute rubbish! Basically we have a top range American standard La-Z-Boy product and it has been broken longer than working during our ownership. We are currently seeking legal advice and hope to return all of the order asap. Shambles of a company and premium products not fit for purpose.

Wouldn't buy a sofa from here if they paid me to take one. Awful customer services.

Great staff who even gave my wife wine while we were couch shopping. The wine made us spend more. BE WARNED!! :)
