Very follow you around sales people, bought what we thought was an amazing comfy sofa and big arm chair thing. Came before predicted delivery date which was good and delivery men were good also. Build quality of sofa is just not on par with what is in the showroom. It squeaks, wobbles and the cushions don't seem to be lasting at all. Don't think I'd ever go back again. I bought the 'everything covered' warranty so if the issues get fixed my review might go up. _____________________________________________ Edit* After being in contact with customer service via email, everything seems to have been sorted. Service pretty good, we have the store manager calling us tomorrow to reorder the sofa.
Excellent customer service, we bought a G Plan suite from SCS last year but have had problems with it. Hence the delay in reviewing. The faults were down to GPlan not SCS but SCS have been faultless in their resolution process and took steps to replace the suite. On purchase we got a competitive price, the suite was delivered on time and as indicated afersale service has been exemplary. I would recommend SCS to anybody and will use again.
Went today to drakehouse and I would just like to say how helpful polite and very knowledgeable Elaine was not pushy or jumping on you when you went in unlike most places . Elaine is an asset to your company
Go here in person and ask for Carl. Seriously, he's the only salesperson we spoke to in the retail park who actually cared about our specifications, wasn't pushing for a higher sale, and had a sense of humour! He set us up with a stock reclining sofa that was a great sales price and had it delivered to us within *three days*. We also picked up a great dining table and 4 chairs set. He made sure we understood the paperwork, talked us through insurance, and made the whole experience easy and pleasant. Paula M.
I was told that my chair was out for delivery today between 10.00 & 15.00 I rang to say I was away but had arranged for someone to receive it.I gave the name and phone number of the lady who would be receiving it to distribution. I was then told I would receive a txt on the day of delivery which would be a more precise timeslot. The text said approx time for delivery 11.14. I would get a call 1 hr before the drivers arrived so that someone could be there to receive it. There was someone in my house all day from 11am. By 1pm still no delivery, so I rang to ask why, and was told it would be between 1pm and 4pm. At 5pm, still no delivery. I rang again and was told the drivers had attempted delivery at 10.10 and had taken photos as no one was in! Therefore, when I rang at 1pm, why wasnt I told this??? The person that had stayed in all day was not pleased, Ive now been told it has been unloaded off the lorry and to ring at midday tomorrow to arrange another delivery. Why do you send a time by txt, if youre going to deliver it before that time???
Went into buy a suite advertised at £329 and ended up paying over £1000 with hidden charges, false advertising is what it is
We ordered a new carpet for both living room and dinning room, after it arrived at their WH the date was changed was a reason " fitter van broke down" they the proceed to change the fitting date without consulting anyone. In the meantime we were waiting for cushion floor for the bathroom. So miraculously that could fir them both together. The wife took a day off work for this, and as I sure most of you will agree trying to clear 2 rooms of ALLfuniture in nye impossible, discussed with store manager at time of order and said it would be on. We were charged an extra £45 due to sofa still being there and when they did the bathroom wet area no sealant. I would definitely never use the company again, on and y the way it was drake House store near Sheffield.
Not a very good experience shopping for a carpet and 3pc suite at scs. Promised a delivery date of late Jan or early Feb. Bought goods then got mail saying estimated delivery date was late March other sales problems too involving costs not resolved.
Chris the salesmam was very good and easy to get on with,they also have a good selection.
If there was an option for 0 stars I would put that. The first greeting was the delivery man shaking his head in disagreement that the sofas wouldn't fit through the door. After I had told them that the salesperson said the doorway size shouldn't matter which it obviously did on the day they proceeded without warning to take the front door off its hinges. After taking in the sofas they put the door back on, but breaking a hinge in the process. As well as this, prior to delivery we were asked to go to their closed store assuring us that someone will be there to sort out the finance paperwork which took them 4 months to sort from the day of delivery. Travelled from Sheffield to Rotherham straight from work to find no one there to open the doors, rang a very helpful customer service assistant who tried 3 times to get through to someone at the store but no one answered. The salesperson ended up coming to my home, where he was very suggestive of the fact that he would have happily have forged the papers for me "if it wasnt for red tape". I know there is a pandemic and things aren't normal, but if they still want business they had better get their act together. It is no excuse for this kind of behaviour. Start to finish it was a complete fiasco.
