Never been to a Screwfix till my plumber recommended them. It was a bit daunting but the staff at the Oldham branch were very helpful. You really have to know what you want to shop effectively. A shout out to Sarah who was patient with me finding the parts I needed and offering very helpful alternatives for parts that were not in stock or online only. Would have given you six stars but they only allow five, sorry!

Great place, great staff, the only negative is the web page could do with upgrading. Regularly doesn't recognise key words when I'm searching for a product. I try a couple of times and if no joy then I shop at Toolstation.
Always helpful, they don't treat you like a numpty just because you're asking for something that's not in your trade expertise. Also, they nearly always have what you want.
Buying DIY items from Screwfix is the closest I ever get to feeling like a professional skilled workman which I am not. The products are ready to find and assess on the website and, once ordered are available to pick up quickly and with no fuss. Always easy to park and no hanging around once you arrive; buying from them is easy and hassle free. Their own brand products seem very good value too. I have used their radiators to replace my old rusty ones and they were well made, easy to install and very good value.
I know its covid and the staff are behind screens but no excuse for rudeness. Picked a radiator up which was quite heavy, got it dumped on the counter and the girl serving me just looked at it and then at me. Ignorant, no offer of help due to it being heavy!! Not even the basics.
