Great breakfast and nice little cafe seating area. Has been recently refurbished and staff were very friendly. One slight gripe: could do with having a larger Saturday breakfast menu as not clear that most of them are only available on a Sunday.
A lovely little place! Friendly staff, great food and reasonable prices!
Since it has been taken over the service and quality of food has went down hill, had a 20 minute wait for a Brie and bacon roll staff was more worried about talking about there weekend than serving.
We stayed in the apartment above Scoffer's & got our rolls for lunchtime to eat on our walk. Exceptionally tasty & fresh- really enjoyed them, nice staff, too.
Good value and great tasting food. Enjoyed the coronation chicken bap which was served with crisps. Will be back!

Great food, friendly service and very generous portions.
Tucked away in a Manningtree back street their sandwiches are heavenly, substantial and the right price....but don't whatever you do look at the cakes, it's fatal.
Lovely place to have something to eat and helpful staff to will be going back
