Lovely atmosphere with friendly helpful staff, great food and service with very reasonable prices. Overall a very good experience that I'll gladly return and recommend. What's more is, that even though they were short staffed, they carried on with smiley faces giving great service.
Perfect place to stop for a late lunch after spending the day exploring Mistley. Great service, staff were very friendly, food was brought out quickly and was delicious. Absolutely wonderful. Thank you
I took my wife for her birthday treat to this beautiful family run restaurant, all their food is prepared fresh. The prices are very reasonable and there is a sense of ambiance about this place. All the staff were very polite and helpful. If I could give more stars I would. I would strongly recommend visiting here. Big thank you to all the staff for a wonderful evening.
I used to live in Manningtree and I must have spent ‘000’s in Lucca over the years. Unfortunately it’s been subject to a fairly steady decline. Pizza is still usually pretty good, although this has slipped from excellent - service is poor and the restaurant is generally dirty. It’s a real shame that it no longer seams to pride itself. I’d suggest owners/management give their head a wobble and restore it to its former glory
Went for a late lunch. One of the tastiest pizzas we have had in a long time. The dough cooked in their wood oven is particularly delicious. They have quite a few vegan options including sorbet.
Whenever I come to Manningtree, this is my first choice. Responsive pleasant service, food is always good. Not a massive selection, but original and authentic tasting. Better than any chain or franchise. Overall very good alround experience. Good but small wine selection. Vegetarian options: Good, including starters Kid-friendliness: Basic but good quality selection
We have been here a few times since moving to Manningtree 18 months ago. Food is constantly great and good service too. Our recent holiday to Italy proved just how good Lucca's is, with several recommend places just not as good as the Italian we have on our doorstep at home.

I used to enjoy eating here but has gone downhill lately. Seem to be cutting back as the mushroom linguini was pretty tasteless with less cream and mushrooms. Staff not very professional and looked unkempt. Shame really...need more competition in the town.Food: 3/5
One of my favourite Italian places, the food never fails to impress. The servers are all lovely and friendly and food comes out very quickly.Food: 5/5
