Cafe Rio is a family run business with very friendly staff and a great atmosphere! Seating available inside & out with a large variety of breakfasts, lunches, afternoon tea, alcoholic drinks and soft drinks to choose from. Friday nights we offer savoury and sweet Crepes 6pm - 11pm.

Doesn't seem to cope well during busy times. No ventilation in the cafe as we walked in was smokey and stank of grease. The cake served was very dry thought the tea was nice. Food very over priced. For example was charged £2.60 for 1 slices of brown bread as toast and the bread was bland so only eat one slice. Came home and had to have a shower and put my clothes in the wash as I stank of the cafe like I'd been working on there all day. :(

My son and I popped in for a coffee and a bit of cake we were waiting for 15/20 minutes. Staff were OK to us but I noticed one of the waitresses was v standoffish to a customer who ordered food. Apparently they were too busy to make her any food as food is made fresh to order, isn't all food at any cafe??? Very poor service and very over priced the staff seemed to find customers an inconvenience. Used to be so much better.

Rip Off prices with tiny portions, and 30 minute wait for tiny bacon baguette. Never again.
