Scarlet Poppy was established in 1994 and has proudly been serving beautiful brides to be ever since. Scarlet Poppy has built its reputation on honest advice, quality bridal gowns and exceptional customer service. Over the years Scarlet Poppy has offered brides to be with a vast array of elegant and sophisticated wedding dresses from leading designers but in addition has afforded brides with the unique opportunity to design their own bespoke gowns, retaining the services of our talented dressmaker and seamstress.
At Scarlet Poppy we believe that your wedding starts as soon as you step through our door! We are a small dedicated team who are committed to our brides and to Scarlet Poppy’s flawless reputation. We ensure that the service, atmosphere and, of course, the gown itself exceeds all your expectations. I had the dream bridal appointment at Scarlet Poppy. All of the dresses are absolutely beautiful!  This was my fourth time trying on dresses and Lois was the best consultant I've had anywhere. She listened to what I liked and didn't like, was very knowledgeable about the dresses and the designers but also the alterations process and what would be possible with each of the dresses I tried on.  I found my dress! I feel I am in good hands for the rest of the process for alterations as well.

I only came to Scarlett Poppy for a veil as I had already found my dress elsewhere, and  they were absolutely fantastic! Still gave me the royal bridal treatment, pulling multiple options before my appointment after asking what I wanted over the phone, and I had a full dedicated appointment appointment where they made me feel super special, and found several stunning options that hit the sparkly brief exactly! I was in love with my veil, which I was even able to take away on the day as they happened to have a brand new unboxed one in store! Highly recommend they lovely ladies at Scarlett poppy!

My experience at Scarlet Poppy was honestly so much fun. I came to find my perfect wedding dress and I definitely did just that. I was able to look around with my sister and pick out 6 dresses I liked and wanted to try. After trying the dresses we picked out Paige was super helpful and went to grab a couple more. Overall my whole experience was so exciting and can’t wait to wear my dream dress at my wedding in October 2025! Thank you so much!!!

I visited Scarlet Poppy Bridal boutique for my destination wedding in May 2024. It was not originally on my list of stores to visit and was the last store I had been to to try on gowns but it was the place I said yes to the dress! I was warmly welcomed by the staff during my appointment and they had a great selection of dresses and designers which suited my style.  All my fitting/seamstress appointments were great. The seamstress Louise created me some beautiful custom sleeves as an addition to my dress! They even added an extra appointment in for me when I had pre-wedding nerves and really helped me feel comfortable in my gown. I usually saw the same staff member, Lois, and she always remembered details of my wedding which was a lovely addition to my experience as I’m sure they have a lot of brides! Communication from the whole team was exceptional and visiting the cottage was a highlight of my wedding planning journey.  Thank you to everyone at Scarlet Poppy Bridal Boutique! X

Such a lovely experience start to finish, I’m so so glad I booked in. We were made to feel at ease from the very start and offered drinks. There was never any pressure and never any sense we were rushed. Hannah was so experienced and listened to what I’d said, she was attentive, professional and kind. There were so many extra little touches and surprises that made me feel special including Hannah’s research on my venue which alongside other things just made me feel that it was a very tailored and unique experience to me. I would highly recommend booking in at Scarlett Poppy and would say it is likely the best in the area.

Had the most fabulous experience at Scarlet Poppy. My first appointment I was assisted by the lovely Paige, I have tried on probably more than 10 dresses! I had an idea of what dress I want but I also wanted to try different styles and silhouettes. Paige was wonderful she helped me out with the dresses and suggested some gowns to try on. Since this was my very first bridal boutique that I visited I was so indecisive but I knew I found my dress here. Came back for my second appointment and finally got the dress that I wanted from the start. The whole experience was perfect, Paige was so helpful from start to finish. Absolutely fantastic service! I felt so confident in the shop and felt incredible in my dress, already can’t wait to come back and try it on again! My wedding is in 5 months and many other bridal boutiques I contacted really made me anxious that they couldn’t order in a dress and it would have to be off the peg. I didn’t get that from Scarlett poppy, they were reassuring and confident I could get the dress I wanted and it would come in time for alterations. Lois was incredible. Thank you so much!

I visited Scarlet Poppy at the start of May and had the most incredible day! I went with my Mum, MIL and SIL not necessarily with a view to purchase, but to get a feel for some styles of dresses after visiting another dress shop earlier in the year and feeling as though I would never find the perfect dress for me.  My consultant, Lois, was amazing - she made us all feel so welcome, making cups of tea to keep us going and letting us all browse the rails before I selected a number of dresses to try. The process of putting tags on the dresses you want to try is really neat and works well!  I selected about 5 dresses to begin with; some from the new range and others from the 'off the peg' section which was vast with a large range of dresses. As it happens, the first dress I tried on was the one that I went away with on the day and Lois gave me some great ideas and examples of small tweaks that can be made to the dress to make it truly mine.  The appointment went on for almost 3 hours but for me it flew by! It was so good to try all of the dresses I liked on multiple times just to be sure.  Throughout the whole appointment we all had a laugh, Lois was so welcoming and made me feel totally at ease and listened to what I did and didn't like when she chose a couple of dresses for me to try. Another highlight of the day that not once did there feel like there was any pressure to make a decision there and then, or to make a purchase if you didn't find the right dress for you.  I will be going back to the boutique in early 2025 for additional fittings and some alterations. I am so excited to wear my dress on the big day!  My day out at Scarlet Poppy will always be one of the highlights of my wedding planning journey.

I am so glad I stumbled across Scarlet Poppy when searching for a bridal boutique in Leeds.  From my first appointment through to collecting my wedding dress, the entire process was seamless.  The staff at Scarlet Poppy are lovely- in particular my consultant Lois who I saw every time I visited was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome and at ease every time I saw her.  I wasn't pressured or rushed into saying 'yes to the dress' and was given honest, helpful advice and feedback from Lois. I was able to try on a selection of different dresses- they have such a wide range of dresses to choose from to suit all budgets, shapes and tastes.  Thank you so much to everyone at Scarlet Poppy for helping me find my dream dress.  I'd definitely recommend Scarlet Poppy to all future brides!

I had such a lovely experience at Scarlet Poppy!  Both times I visited, the ladies were so welcoming and friendly. Also super helpful! I picked my dress out the first time with Paige she was so lovely , but wanted to take some other family members to see it the second time round and they were very accommodating about this! And then I finally said yes with Hannah, again so lovely and helpful. Thankyou to the ladies at Scarlet poppy! You made my experience very easy and enjoyable!!!
