Really disappointed in the service I received today at Clarks White Rose. I walked in and was asked my a sales assistant ' what I was after’ , I asked if I could get my 2 year old daughters feet measured. He rudely replied ’we don't measure feet unless you're buying something.’ I told him that if my daughters feet had grown then I would purchase some new shoes. The only reason that I have given two stars and not one is that a lovely sales assistant called Jack delivered a much better service when measuring my daughter's feet. They had grown and we did buy a pair of new shoes.We have spent hundreds of pounds on shoes in Clarks over the past two years and I won't be returning to this particular store to buy shoes for my children .
Measured my son's feet incorrectly. Bought shoes in the size we had been told and had to hand back at till when I collected them. Had them re measured and he was a whole size smaller than what we had been originally told! The lad who served me was very apologetic however and discounted the new shoes I purchased.
Lovely staff, but not much stock left. Out of 20 infant shoes they only had one pair that fit my son.
Was rudely spoke to as soon as we walked through the door!! We went into Clarks to have my son measured to buy his first pair of shoes. A very rude I think she was the manager snapped at us and said we don't offer a measuring service you need to buy from us, so pick a pair of shoes then take a ticket. We then picked 2 pairs which they didn't have in my sons size so they brought out what they did have available. We did buy the shoes as its his first pair and the Clarks pre walkers are soft on their little feet. At the till I asked if they had the little keepsake cards they used to supply stating the date and size of shoes. Once again the very rude manager snapped we haven't had those for years! Think Clarks need to rethink the management choices in this store as we will not be buying from Clarks again and have ordered our own foot measuring gauge from Start Rite!
Karen was absolutely wonderful with both of my children during their measurements. But she was especially fantastic with my son who had a hard time understanding what was going on and was quite anxious during the whole process. She was so kind and patient and was reassuring to me as well. Really great customer service, I can't thank her enough!
Always buy my shoes here. Had to replace a pair I bought several years ago. I have been all over the world in them, Japan, Australia & New Zealand, North America and Canada and they have always been comfortable.
Wouldn’t even give a 1 star. Horrible customer service by the rude staff who work there. Refused to measure my daughters feet, unless I was going to purchase shoes. Even After placing an online order in store with them she refused to measure using the appropriate equipment. Had a quick feel with her thumb and said it’s fine. I could have done that myself.
Worst service I’ve had in Clarks. Wanted my 3 kids feet measuring, lady who did it was extremely fast, wouldn’t commit to a size unless we tried shoes on and didn’t help us to select any school shoes. She did not measure the width of the childrens feet and did not even engage with the children. Doesn’t take much to be pleasant.
When I asked a member of staff to explain why someone would pay £90 for a pair of shoes that look similar to a pair I'd seen in Wynsor's for £15 she replied I don't know how wynsor's make their shoes, So I will spend £15 instead of the £90 for the shoes I liked
Just been in with my daughter as she needed school shoes. Lady in there was extremely unhelpful, stood behind the till and refused to do the measure unless we picked shoes first. Another guy came and helped us he was lovely and helpful the lady called him over a couple of times to speak to him. I heard her tell him that we could only pick ladies shoes for my daughter as he did a ladies fitting on her. When he relayed the message to me, I reminded him that he was able to re size my daughter with the child's fitting apparatus he agreed with me. Due to how she made me feel I decided I would not spend my money in there. Instead we went to another shop in white rose and had amazing service. We were the only customers in the store at the time and I can see why.
