A nice train station that is served by Greater Anglia trains the ticket office area is currently closed and it was being redeveloped. There is disabled access to both platforms from street level. The two platforms are long and the station was clean and tidy Sawbridgeworth train station is a basic station and is also very peaceful in a quiet area there is a level crossing at the end of the platforms.
Small station with a ticket machine, small waiting rooms on each platform, and an Amazon pickup locker.nnCar park is over the road, footbridge offers a way over the platform if the level crossing barriers are down. No barriers.
Nice little station to catch a train into London. Regular services too. The ticket man here is a really friendly chap, and gave us good information about the station car park.
On 8/Feb at around 2pm, I took a photo of the station building and the station attendant a Caucasian man in his 50s with grey hair and glasses told me that taking photos of the station was forbidden for security reasons, so I apologised. Was he harassing me because I'm Asian? I felt very uncomfortable
Such a nice rural-like station on the West Anglia route in Hertfordshire - visited 26th June 2019
