The experience was pleasantly unforgettable. The entire property was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The ambient temperature in the room was perfect, neither too cold or too warm. Amenities are ultramodern and well maintained. Services from reception to the restaurant to housekeeping are all exceptional. Food is well prepared, exquisitely presented and extremely tasty. All members of staff we encountered were outstanding ambassadors for the Company. This is a truly amazing place. Brilliant work. Thanks and keep it up.
We decided to drop in for a meal as we had a bit of time to kill. We were greeted warmly and shown to a nice quiet area. Service was just the right level of attention and service but not over bearing. The food came in a reasonable amount of time and was cooked to a good standard. Food, price and service had made it worth my while to recommend here. A well deserved "Well done" to all of the staff.
Fantastic pub/hotel with lovely staff both for breakfast and in the evening. A lively bar and a great place to meet locals who were super friendly and nice. Breakfast was really good and nice vegan and vegetarian options. The lady at breakfast was brilliant. Eve checked us in and looked after us in the evening and she was brilliant. Location perfect as loads of places are a short walk away if you didn't want to eat in. We were there for an event at whittlebury park which was only a short drive or taxi ride away. The rooms are really nice with very comfortable beds and very spacious. Very nice bathroom, lots of hot water. The only gripe would be that there should be more space for clothes in the room. Could do with some coat hooks near the door loads of room for this and a chest of drawers, again plenty of room. The wardrobe was really small for two people staying 3 nights. Will be back next year! We got married at the Saracens Head in September and we had the most amazing day. The hotel rooms were perfect and so comfortable! The room we got married in was decorated exactly how we wanted it and even more than we asked for! and the hotel staff even set us up a table out of the way decorated again that we didn't even know about. Michelle was absolutely amazing from start to finish and the staff around the hotel were also brilliant. We can't wait to come back for our anniversary dinner, the steak was divine!
Came in for a quick lunch. Everyone was so welcoming and attentive. Staff were happy and chatty and very attentive. Food was amazing. Especially the Mac & cheese. Piping hot and really tasty!! Desserts were excellent and exactly as described. Looking forward to going back soon! Shout out to Rachel who served us. Really lovely lady.
We popped in for dinner without having made a reservation. The service was fantastic, Dave and the team were friendly and efficient. The food was great, we were all very impressed. We thoroughly recommend this place and we’ll definitely be back.
Me and my partner came here for the first time on Sunday for a roast and it was fabulous. Wonderful service and the food came quick but was very well cooked and full of flavour! Will definitely be returning again.
I recently had a birthday surprise dinner at the saracens head. It couldn’t of gone more perfect and all the staff were amazing. Lovely food and a great selection of drinks to choose from! Will definitely be going back. Thank you Dave and the rest of the staff!
Massive thank you to Michelle at the Saracens Head in Towcester who has gone above and beyond to accommodate myself with a surprise party booking after being let down by another local establishment. Michelle accommodated all my requests and ensured all was in place ahead of the big day which was earlier today. The birthday boy was very surprised and everyone we met at The Saracens Head couldn’t do enough for us. The food was incredible, the service amazing and the whole day was fantastic - thank you so very much. A group of seven of us went to the Saracen’s Head for our work Christmas lunch. We had different food asks - gluten free, vegan, etc. and we were all well catered for. I had the scampi and chips which was wholetail scampi and delicious. We all enjoyed our food and the service was brilliant. Note - take cash for a tip as you can’t add it to the card machine.
