Popped in for a pint and late lunch. Lovely friendly hospitable welcome. Pumpkin gnocchi were some of the best flavours I have tasted. Really good service, good atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!
Nice pub. Dog friendly. Friendly bar man. Seating isn’t the best. Menu wasn’t that great. Think they need a lite bite menu. A proper one. Not a couple of things wrote on a mini chalkboard. Who wants to pay silly prices for a lunch?.. We left after looking at the menu and went to another pub for food. Nice village. The people here are very welcoming. Some villages we’ve visited have been not very friendly. This one is definitely friendly. Lots of footpath walks here. #Walkswithbuddy #Roobysvillagetour #Buddyfriendlypubs
Terrible food - nice service - went for Sunday Roast 4 adults 1 child - I didn't have the roast - starters were good but mains were virtually inedible. Beef way too tough and Steak pie mine far too dry and tasteless.
Very pleasant Friday lunch visit. The service was outstanding and we ordered starters and mains which were all cooked and presented beautifully. Very impressed. Thankyou.
One of the best pub meals I've had in a long time. Simply delicious. In fact all in my party expressed how delicious their meal was. Certainly will be going back again. I have to try all on the menu.
Took friend for birthday lunch, staff delightful, service efficient, food delicious and to complete the meal, chef send out a beautiful plate with Happy Birthday in chocolate and fresh fruits. Really to be recommended.
Very accommodating, They even game me extra toffee sauce on my sticky toffee pudding! Shoutout to Emily she was super helpful
Great pub . Great variety of beer and I heard the food is very good.
We had a lovely lunch with a great selection of food and very friendly service. Actually we were spoiled for choice but three of us opted for the burger and had a peppercorn sauce on the side and one had the scampi although the beer battered haddock was also considered. We will definitely be returning for more of the same.
Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch today. Staff excellent food delicious. Will be back.
