"The Brave Old Oak is a traditional English pub in the historic town of Towcester. Whilst much of the original architecture of this 300-year-old building remains, inside is a warm, friendly and welcoming pub with plenty to offer. Thirsty? We have a variety of real ales, large selection of wines, lagers and minerals on tap meaning there’s something for every occasion. If you’re after something to go with your drink, we serve food daily, including breakfast, light bites and main meals. Our children’s menu is tailored for little eaters and if you join us on a Sunday, you can tuck into one of our traditional roasts."

Stopped here for food and drink whilst traveling to see family . Was greeted with a friendly face and a warm welcome. Bar staff are really friendly and very helpful , Craig and Lindsay are good hosts and chatted to us at the bar for a while . We had a meal which was lovely and an excellent pint of lager . This place has a traditional, friendly feel to it , will definitely be returning when in the area .
Took our elderly uncle whom is wheelchair bound and in a local residential care home in Towcester for Sunday lunch, the staff at the old Brave Oak were lovely and warm and welcoming and very accommodating. The food was delicious and didn't have to wait long. Will definitely be back thank you
Really lovely pub in the centre of town. An extremely warm welcome - couldn't do enough for us or the dogs. Great food, and good value too.
Sally and the other staff are extremely friendly and so welcoming to new people. The pub has a lovely atmosphere and food. I highly recommend the Brave Old Oak. Xx
I have to say! Probably the best steak I have had in a very long time. This small little pub had animated myself and 2 others in short notice. We all had the mixed grill and honestly.... The best decision ever!!!
Love this pub in the middle of Towcester, great atmosphere with a top landlord. Ordered a full English breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Highly recommended.
Had a nice meal as a family here. Reasonable pricing and a good selection of beers available. Would visit again the next time in area.
Lovely pub, warm welcome with great food at low prices. Two well kept ales on tap at any one point.
Excellent Sunday roast. Lovely friendly helpful bar and restaurant staff. We'll worth a visit.
This has to be the most friendly and welcoming pub in the town. I have never been here before but I was greeted with a smile and treated with extremely friendly courtesy. Nothing was too much trouble. I ordered food that was reasonably priced and of excellent quality. Whilst eating, I was asked by two different people if I had everything I needed and was I enjoying the meal. As I was eating, I had finished my drink, I was asked by the landlord if I wanted another, as I went to get up I was told, sit down and I will bring it to you. Fantastic service.
