What a really nice hotel to stay. . Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is great. Fish and Chips is the best I have tasted in years. Triple cooked chips, perfect crispy batter and so fresh it must have been caught that day. Would I stay again?? I would move in permanently in the morning. Rooms: Spotlessly clean and cosy . Food & drinks: 10 out of 10. Ate there with 5 others. All meals and desserts were a fantastic standard. Noteworthy details: Slept like a log in a very very comfy bed . Staff made sure everyone was happy. Just a wonderful stay. Thank you
My daughter booked a table for 8 adults and an infant for mother's day. We were greeted very pleasantly by the reception team and was very quickly shown to our table. It was extremely busy as it was fully booked but the service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the staff were polite, friendly and very efficient. It was a lovely afternoon and I wouldn't hesitate to visit again and would recommend this lovely hotel/restaurant to anyone.
We just had a superb meal on our 36th wedding anniversary. The restaurant was very quiet as you would expect on a tuesday so we had the undivided attention of the waiting staff. Tyler in particular was super attentive and polite. The food was excellent and the whole experience was very enjoyable. Many thanks.we will be back.Service: 5/5
My husband friend and I visited for a quick lunch It is a beautiful place located a very short drive from my home. We had the jacket potato and I had a gin and tonic Lunch was nice the atmosphere was lovely will definitely be returning maybe for an evening meal next time

Had afternoon tea with friends, lovely surroundings and views outside, cosy and clean inside. Large car park.Rooms: 4/5
Beautiful view from the end of the car park, it is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but that is probably why you get such a wonderful view. Food was good and we were surprised how big the ‘small’ portions were. The staff were very friendly and helpful and there is a large variety of places to sit throughout.
We attended a wedding reception here and the entire evening was very special. Thanks to the wonderful staff who made a happy event even more memorable. The building is an ancient farmhouse tastily converted to a wonderful hotel and restaurant. It is a must visit location and the views over Amber Valley are spectacular. Highly recommended. Food & drinks: Great choice of beers and food. Bring a huge appetite.
Standard venue for partys, works dos and weddings. Nice enough beer on the bar, lots of areas, decent breakfast, rooms clean and functionalRooms: 4/5
Me and my partner went for afternoon tea. It was very nice. Lovely sandwiches, really delicious scones that were still warm and great deserts. Very welcoming and lovely service. I'd definitely recommend it and I'd go back.Service: 5/5
