Wonderful location, so tranquil. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the garden with a glass of wine. The host and hostess are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Bedroom was first class with a spacious en suite bathroom. A wide variety of breakfast food was offered to satisfy all our preferences. Excellent!
We have just arrived home after staying for the weekend at this lovely Bed and Breakfast. Janet and john made us feel welcome from the time we arrived. Our room was lovely, very clean. The breakfast was amazing so much choice. Would definitely visit again and would recommend it. Thank you janet and john.

Just had a 2 night stay here, my husband and I taking a little break together without the teenagers! Beautiful home, spotlessly clean, perfect hosts, breakfast amazing, room and facilities exactly what we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer. Very friendly owners, Covid safe, clean and tidy rooms, slightly small, but adequate. Excellent breakfast with several choices/options. Plenty of outside seating for guests to use in the garden, if weather permits. Good location, only 10 - 15 minutes walk into centre of Matlock, with many choices of dining options. Only 5 mins to nearest pub Red Lion which serves good pub food in its restaurant area. Highly recommended.
B&B in a fantastic location. Janet and John super hosts, we only stayed for one night but wish we could have stayed longer, and will do if we ever come back to the UK. The welcome and introduction was one of the best we have ever experienced, a welcome from the heart. The little things which they have mastered mean the most, ie, wine glasses in the room, lovely drinks tray with biscuits and fresh milk in the fridge which had water and sweets in. Glasses in the en-suite, which is always a welcome. Our bed room 2 was so so comfy and the room was spotless. Breakfast to die for and plenty of it. Use of the outside garden area with comfy seats and shelter if required, lovely place to have a drink watching the sun go down. Looking forward to seeing you once again soon. Regards John & Val
Brilliant! Came to stay here for visiting the Matlock illuminations. Lovely B&B, owners were very accommodating. I loved the little luxuries like the safe and fridge with water & chocolate, saves a trip to the shop. Breakfast was cooked to perfection every time. Will definitely be staying here again,and I have recommended you to all family and friends
A lovely homely and family run B & B with all you need for an enjoyable stay. The hosts Janet & John are friendly & welcoming. The bed was super comfy coupled with a great on-suite . Pubs/bars/restaurants & attractions are not far away and offer something for everyone. We have stopped here on a number of occasions and will continue to do so. Highly recommended.
