i would rate zero if possible. a different branch told me the exact documentation i needed yet this branch refused to accept it. i have been to santander several times now trying to sort out this issue i don’t have the time to constantly be going in because each time they want something different. this branch in particular didn’t even try to offer an alternative and was extremely condescending.
The staff dont try to solve my problem but keep me waiting and have to revisit the branch 3 times, they have attitude as well
Absolute joke. Loads of staff useless and dithering about. When asked say they are not able to help and need to wait for a colleague. So what are you here for then? Decoration? Insane opening times. How are you meant to go to THE ONLY BRANCH anywhere nearby if you actually work. I took an afternoon off work to come here, at my own cost. Waited so long that they closed before I could do what I came for, so will have to come again.
Tried to set up an account. Easy? No. The staff made us wait over 90 mins. Member of staff Jill told us she was too busy to help us. Told us they would call back after 2 days. 5 days went by, no call. 5 calls later we call and get through to Jill. She tells us again she’s too busy to help us. Unbelievably poor service.
awful bank, i’ve had so many problems with them! I have been locked out my account for a year now and can’t contact them as they don’t take phone calls anymore, my card is also not working and i can’t contact them as you have to be logged into your account to be able to contact them
Went in yesterday. First asked what I wanted to do so told them and joined a queue which wasn't too long considering they were having tech problems Everyone I spoke to was very helpful and pleasant
Staff attitude is appalling. I didn’t get told everything I needed and the woman said “I forgot soz” - extremely unprofessional, especially after waiting a long time to be seen. No care for their customers’ concerns whatsoever. Rarely do I need to go to a branch in person, but never will I return to this one.
Disgusting service , counting machines broken and ONE cashier on in a city centre branch on a Monday !
Terrible attitude at front counter. Tried to get info on new account. Here's how it went Q. I want to open a new account. A. You have to do it online Q. It says you can do it in branch A. Well, there's no appointments for 2 months. Q. Gosh, how many appointments do you do a day? A. Five a day, we're only open for 6 hours. Unbelievable! Not only the information but the arrogant, unhelpful way it was presented. So I took my money across the road to Nationwide, who were excellent. Santander Nottingham, you do realise it is us do you a favour and not the other way round?!
The staff was very supportive and respectful. They could solve my queries instantly. Visited twice with queries and they have resolved without any hesitation. All the covid19 precautions are also being followed and no more than a person is allowed inside the bank at a time.
