This building used to be Tipton Library before they moved it to a room above the shopping centre off Owen street. This Grade 2 listed building was a landmark in the area. The local muslim's wanted to turn it into a mosque and ruin it forever until it was saved by the trust and preserved

Great place to go swimming or the gym at the top. You can even book swimming lessons for you or/and your child/ children

Where do you start to pickfaults for one its a disgusting company to work for I lasted a few months. Only staying because of the decent wage however soon was outweighed by the long tedious hours that they worked you. Overworking one 16 year old lad only giving him a half hour break after working 9 hours this break should be allowed at  4.5 hours according to there PSOP. Entering their waters tonight there pool was filthy and actually made me throw up after getting out, there is visible pieces of skin nails and hair which could not have collated from a week. The water was overly cold and I experience this at all the leisure centres. Clorine levels overly high but this probably matches how disgustingly dirty the water is. The visible TIM machines around the centres always show when the area was last cleaned by a member of staff this hadnt been done since the night before during the shutdown procedure and was long overdue. Glad i got out of there and went to PFP (places for people) a nicer company to work for on the whole and treat staff with the respect that they deserve. I am Ex Staff and can honestly say would not want to work for SLT for another minute.

Wouldn't even give you one star . You're telling kids to get fit learn to swim how can anyone do that when the hours you're open for family swimming are crap . For 5 hours today it was lane swim only little pool closed and believe it or not there was no one in there . These new pools should be open at all times for kids in school holidays . Took him to Daraston instead everything open you need to learn from this but you won't
