Staying on the seafront this car park has been so useful - it was just around the corner & very reasonably priced. £3 per day, we paid £18 for 5 days inc overnight parking. The pay points take cards as well as cash. It's not a big car park, I think part of it is being used to house the vehicles needed for the renovation of the old college, but we always found a space. There are a couple of disabled bays & the car park has been resurfaced.
Yay! This car park has seen some investment and design work to make it easier to get in and out of spaces. This is especially good news for anyone with accessibility needs as the disabled spaces are way better laid out and there are more of them. And at £3 for the whole day it's still very affordable.
Not too many spaces there but a good price for parking, a couple of minutes walk to the esplanade. Stayed there in July 2024
Very reasonable pricing at £3 a day if you can find a space. I actually managed to catch someone just leaving on both occasions I visited! It’s a little tricky to navigate to and from, down tiny narrow one-way streets. Campervans will make it but motorhomes would be best finding somewhere more accessible.
A great and convenient place to park. Close to the seafront and next to a nice children's playground.
