Great 2 night stay, brilliant location with all the main sights in easy reach on foot. Reception on the lower ground floor with additional entrance / exit using key card to the sea front on the upper ground floor was handy. We had a second floor room overlooking the car park but we slept well. AC worked fine and although it was hot whilst we were there, the room wasn't too hot all weekend. Comfortable bed and everything very clean and up together. Thank you to staff including the breakfast chefs cooking us veggie sausages and bacon, Chris the duty manager and reception staff for a warm welcome. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook.
Nice hotel, conveniently located opposite the beach. The staff were amazing, very helpful, polite and professional. Special mention to the girl on reception, she was very welcoming.nnOnly small criticism is that the car park gets full in the evening so if you're out late then you'll need to park on the street but you'll need to move your car in the morning prior to enforcement of parking restrictions.
A definite 5 stars for this superb hotel.nnAll of the staff were superb and seemed very happy. They all had an extremely friendly and welcoming nature and did their various jobs with a smile.nnThe hotel is also very clean everywhere. The standard room we had faced the sea a road width away. A clean room on the inside with the usual comfortable large double bed. I say the inside because sadly they have put up an unopenable second layer of glazing on the windows which stayed steamed up and really needed a clean on the outside. This was totally different to the absolute cleanliness everywhere else; shame. The room also had aircon that was fully controllable by customers.nnBreakfast was very well done with branded cereals, fruit juice, hot drinks, fruit, pastries, cakes, and bread plus a toaster all freshly presented. The chef George in our case will happily cook eggs, etc differently. Really helpful, and very co-operative. Breakfast staff were also extremely helpful and efficient. To sum up: if you are visiting Aberystwyth, stay at Premier Inn.
Nice location, facilities all clean and modern. Had a couple of peaceful nights' rest here on the weekend and was pleased we'd booked due to the comfy beds and aircon what with the muggy weather lately. I gave the Rooms 4 stars as I can only assume a recent guest in our room was clearly a smoker and there was a not insignificant trace of smoke in the room still. I mentioned whether we could switch to Sophie I believe on the desk and although there wasn't any alternative available she went to the trouble of setting up a fumigator they had in the room whilst we went for a walk. When we returned we enquired as to whether the restaurant was still open don't believe it was at 9:30pm on this particular Friday but again Sophie obliged us in sorting out some ice cream for our family that we ate at the bar seating whilst the room finished fumigating. When we returned to the room it was much fresher so absolutely cannot fault the friendly and attentive service we received here. Location also 4 stars only due to the car park being rather small and we had to make a rather adhoc parking spot for ourselves, the hotel itself though is ideally located on Aberystwyth promenade tough.
The room, staff and service was excellent, the only thing that let it down was the evening meals as most of them are cooked from frozen instead of cooked fresh. For a sea view room ensure you book the rooms with a bay window ;
