Good location, seemed plenty of spaces available when we used it. One thing we found was that most people couldn't use the ticket machine!! Husband waited over 10 minutes for 2 ladies to faff about with it, local ladies and they couldn't fathom it. Next time the same, big queue, but whilst he waited he'd spotted another one by the entrance and used that, he walked twice as far and was still back before the first person had worked out how to get their ticket! Not Sure if its a faulty machine or faulty people but thought I'd mention it.
I'd love to say that this was a tranquil and sublime experience, but it is a car park and I have no idea why Google wants me to review it.
I was issued with a parking ticket with the offense "failed to park within marked area". The attached photos show that there were no markings in the area where I parked. What did I do wrong? Avoid this car park.
It's a car park next to Aberystwyth football club. Doesn't take cash in parking meters. Cheaper car park available opposite the Police Station
Nice car park as car park go good view very good scenery, nice place to chill.
This is a smallish council owned carpark in Aberystwyth backing onto the river Rheidol. Coming into Aberystwyth on the A44 it's the first that will be encountered by turning left when noticing the football club signs. It's not attached to any shopping centre, but it is adjacent to the town's football club. It can be fairly quiet unless there is a football match on; then it's packed. The carpark also has views of the river and 'millennium bridge' as well as recycling bins for plenty of products. From the carpark, it's about 5min into the town centre and train station and about 1min to the Rheidol retail park Peacocks, Pets at Home & Matalan and 2min to Tesco and M&S. To summarise: an often overlooked carpark that's within walking distance of the town centre.
Space easy to find and traffic warden lady very pleasant and helpful
Small car park with the worlds most convoluted pay machine. There is only one pay machine in the car park and there is always a queue of confused customers - both local and tourists
Ok, not massive. Pay and display are card only .
