My mum enjoyed 2 very happy years at Safe Harbour on the residential floor. The quality of every aspect of her care was first class. The staff treated her with great dignity and love. They all knew her well and she loved them too. It is a very happy place with the interests and well being of the residents at the very heart of their ethos. My beautiful mum recently passed away at Safe Harbour. Her end of life care was exemplary! We, mum's family, felt so supported too. I feel lucky that I found Safe Harbour. I looked around many homes and Safe Harbour was by far the best and the right choice for my mum!!
My mum received the most loving care and attention at safe harbour. My mum sadly had dementia and was immobile and couldn’t speak the care mum received was unconditional. Every aspect of care was provided lovingly and willingly. The care givers are genuinely caring people I felt lucky to have found Safe harbour and will always be grateful for the love and care mu mum received when she lived there. Can’t recommend safe harbour highly enough.
I'm so glad this home is under new management, as I did a work placement here a number of years ago, and the majority of the staff treated me awful and almost put me off working on a team in the care setting. The residents kept me positive during my time at safe harbour and made me feel so welcome. it's good to hear new management have brought a positive atmosphere to the home, which in turn will boost staff morale and provide most importantly, a happy and safe home for the men and women who live here. I've had to give 3 stars as I am in two minds about the home due to my bad experience but also due to the fact that new management sound like they are making a change, so credit where it is due.
Excellent nursing team very confident and competent absolutely pleasure supporting you with training, Thank you , and a lovely clean friendly home .
My dad lives here the care he gets is amazing in the most heartbreaking hopeless situation I've ever faced I know my dad is wanting for nothing xx
