Me and my partner have been letting through sabelwood for nearly 3 years now, and we couldn't be happier with the service we have received from both Debra and Steve. If we have any issues they are prompt to solve and are very accommodating to all of our needs. This is our first home living together and knowing that there is always someone on the end of the phone really helped us in the beginning! we hope to continue to let with them until we have enough money to buy our own property. I would highly recommend!
We've been in our property for 7 years now and have been with Debra & Steve right from the very beginning. I have to say, myself and my family have lived here trouble free and any issues get resolved so quickly. They have made us feel like this is our home, they are approachable and when we have seen them out and about they take the time to chat. I would highly recommend Sablewood, if you want a happy and hassle free home this is the company to use.
Lived in a property managed by Sablewood for over a year, a breath of fresh air after both me and my partner had had some woeful experiences with letting agents in the past. Everything laid out clearly and fairly from the moment we got in contact with them. Any queries dealt with quickly and professionally. Very approachable. No hassle getting deposits back after the move out. I wish more agents took example from Deborah and Steve.
I have rented a house and a flat through Sablewood and both times I have been very happy with their service. Any time I phoned with an issue, Steve & Debra would always make every effort to sort it out ASAP for me. If, one day I need a letting agent to look after my house then I would definitely choose Sablewood. I am writing this after not being with them anymore due to relocation of my job and that is the only reason for my not renting with them now.
Sabelwood put a lot of effort into helping me find a place that was very well suited to me. This was also sorted in a short amount of time, as I needed to find a place quickly to relocate for work. I would definitely recommend Sabelwood! EDIT: Steve and Debra have been amazingly kind and helpful during my time renting from them - which was just under 1.5 years, before I moved away from the area. After this time, I would still highly recommend Sabelwood to anyone. Thank you so much!
I agree with other reviewers saying some of the staff Debra Abel are unprofessional and very rude to say the least. Poor experience of renting a property with them a couple of years ago... When I wanted to read through the contract before signing it, she became mad and lost the plot! Fortunately for them I was in a hurry to get a place, so remained patient. Don't know how this business stays afloat!
Very negligent as land management.i came home one day to find he had instructed his contractors to pull up a area of my drive private Drive which has nothing to do with his management company,I had no issues before the work and after being relayed we now have large deep puddles when raining. After contacting Sablewood he said that he thought it was his land and he didn’t know what land belonged to the management company and refuses to apologise or repair our drive,he will also find every excuse possible to blame anyone but himself or his contractor,at first apparently we had a water leak,then I washed plant on my drive as to which is very untrue as I have no plant and then it was subsidence as apparently subsidence has no issues to where it subsides...”FACT NO SUBSIDENCE ON OUR PROPERTY”when no subsidence is on our property its just poor workmanship and not being able to understand a spirit level no tea or coffee was offered and yes I let them have water as it was 35degrees and I think that’s just common courtesy in that weather,,and the police and insurance are involved purely for reference for files that work had been carried out in private property without consent and to say they feathered in is a understatement I don’t call a 2mtr square are of my drive being lifted feathered in a call it full works without consent.and also why did his contractor work on our property when we are private freehold it’s “PURE NEGLIGENCE SABLEWOOD THOUGHT IT WAS HIS LAND”.
Me and my partner have just got a flat with Sabelwood and so far they have been fantastic. They were professional and helped us find this place quickly as we were in a rush. Would definitely recommend them!
Accomodating and friendly. I rented a flat from Sabelwood for one year and found them very easy to deal with, they were very helpful, no issues whatsoever.
