I'm American and have never seen a nicer grocery store.  All the produce looked healthy and vibrant.  The prepackaged food selection was extensive.  There were options for every diet.  I wish we had a store like this back home.

I had an issue with a food collection that my mother had placed that could not be collected on Xmas eve midday. Anthea went above and beyond to help change the slot on a busy Xmas eve, she was fantastic starting work at 4am  her text below..  Good morning Mrs Williams, it’s Anthea from MnS. I can pick your order for 8.00am if you are able to pick it up. You only have to take up to value of the already paid deposit of £40 if you don't want everything. I hope this helps. Poor customer service at tills.  Checkout Operator watching football via mobile before serving.  Also made a cheeky comment when i asked for a bag which he offered.  i don’t think he understood my glaswegian accent but to say back to me ‘that’s what i asked you ‘ and then to shake his head at me .  Just moved to Beckenham and disappointed already

Lovely produce and great staff. I had an issue with a purchase and returned it to the store for a refund. Francis and Tina couldn't of been nicer and really made my day. I wish more people could be as friendly and efficient as they were. The security guard was nice too!

Very unprofessional service. A guy pretending to work there  self -servicerefused to show me his M&S id.

One of the best M&S’, specifically because of helpful staff

This store is small but has a well stocked food department. I particularly  like the ready meals, ready prepared veg and the Classic sandwich. I am able to microwave meal plus veg for lunch at work. I rely on the M & S quality. I appreciate the helpfulness and.politeness of staff. I particularly like the fact the store have proper manned tills. A pleasant conversation with till operative is very welcome.

I live in Central Bromley but had to go to Beckenham for a dental appointment. I went into the shop to buy some bread. The lady, tall English lady was extremely friendly and helpful as I couldn't find my choice of bread. When I paid at the checkout Mark started chatting and was so friendly and nice. What a nice man. He really cheered me up after my unpleasant dental appointment.  Both employees are a credit to the Beckenham store.

I really have to appreciate all staff! All the people I met were so lovely with big smiles on their faces! From nice men at the doors to cashier lady at last till, who made extra effort and helped me to pack my plant. And I was waiting only few seconds at the pick up point and some gentleman who was tidying up some boxes asked me, if I've been served with kind smile. Thank you! I really appreciate your work and amazing attitude!

Good food, nice staff on the most part, except for unfortunately a racist security guard who will follow you around the store if you happen to be black. I go to this store a lot as it is around the corner from me, and this happens whenever this security guard is there. Next time I'll report him.
