Quiet, secluded, good play area for children, comfortable benches, vine covered promenade, and a grassy lawn. Would recommend. Good coffee shops and a couple of pubs nearby, so grab a drink and relax. Multiple bins so don't worry about bringing food.
Crabtree Fields is a park near Goodge street. The park itself is well maintained and has lovely wooden arches with sitting areas. There's also a children only play area which again looks clean and well maintainer. it's more of a park for residents of the area than something for tourists.
Decent place to eat my lunch but SO MANY pigeons! They keep divebombing you as you're eating and swarm you whenever any crumbs fall to the ground. DO NOT feed them or you'll get mobbed. Maybe a falcon would settle in well here... Worth asking the Council
Nice space for a bit of peace and quiet from the shitness that Charles, Camilla, William and Harry have made of our city.
Could be amazing, quiet place to read or meet a friend but sadly plagued by flies, the darker shady spots encourage antisocial behavior saw you having a wee, delivery driver. Small playground for local kids seems clean and safe.
Nice little gem behind Charlotte street
Charmin, hidden from a crowd and great place to have a meal on the bench.
Nice place to quietly sit in Fitzrovia. There's a Tesco or lots of restaurants nearby if you want to grab a snack to eat outdoors.
A little Oasis in the middle of London, where I have initially met long term friends, who used it to have their lunch or other breaks there. When my grandson was little we went there as it has childrens area and again talked to other parents. Wonderful, especially as we don't have a garden. Especially popular in the summer.
