Rubber Soul Beatles Bar in Liverpool is a legendary place! Having worked there for quite some time as an international student in the UK, I can say it truly felt like home. From the moment I started working part-time, I was welcomed with open arms. Friendly faces greeted me every time I walked in, always asking how I was doing. The managers are the nicest—easy to talk to, funny, and always ready with a prank. Special shoutout to Sean, Aaron and Paul! Rubber Soul gave me countless opportunities to grow, and that’s what I loved most. There was a time I left for what seemed like a better job, but when things didn't work out, Rubber Soul welcomed me back with open arms and a simple 'Welcome Back!' A part of Rubber Soul will always stay with me because it has given me so much. I'll miss the lovely customers too, chatting with them and making their pints of Guinness with a heart on top. This place has made me more hardworking, disciplined, and humble. Thank you, Rubber Soul, for everything. I'll always carry a piece of you with me.
What training do the bouncers here have? Truly horrible and unprofessional. The female bar staff told me my friend has been assaulted and was was told to leave as my friend was too drunk which is fine I understood I tried to tell the bouncer she had left her phone inside and could I go look for it and shoved my about three grown men. So much for keeping us ‘safe’. Horrible experience and makes me never want to go to matthew street again. I felt really unsafe and scared. Please do better to make women feel safe and get some female bouncers OR get some training on safeguarding and the basics of not unnecessarily putting your hands on people and using force when you don’t need to.
They cab throw you out anytime without any specific reason. The Security is very bad and very partial to their people. Not good place for foreigners. I'm very disappointed after the way they treated me . The same incident happened with another girl who had to face the same issue on the same day. This behavior from the Security should not be encouraged or promoted. Thank you.
Live music every night. The vibe was brilliant and the singer very good. The Rubber Soul is located in Matthew Street and the whole street is buzzing with love music.Service: 5/5
Late night bar in Liverpool. Don't be fooled into thinking it plays Beatles music at weekend nights. It's like a fully blown nightclub. Free to get in though.Service: 4/5
Asked for Stongbow dark fruits, tried to give me half a strongbow original with cordial mixed in, not even a cider tops, it was 50/50, still tried to charge me £6.20 for it! Watch out. Giving it 2 stars only because it has live music.Service: 1/5
This place is a vibe, with crazy good prices on drinks. We had 3 pints and one soft drink for around £11. The bar man was great and very welcoming, super laid back pub. Great music and well decorated in tune with its surroundings. A must visit on your trip to Liverpool!

The speakers in here are a painful quality, the group of us were really put off by it. I wouldn't bother visiting until they fix the speakers. Service is fine and it's an interesting layout.Service: 3/5
