There's shelter on each platform. Access to platform is only via a footbridge so it's not accessible to wheel chairs or the not fully ambulant. I'm watching an elderly couple working their way slowly up there struggles l stairs right now. The station building is a house. There are seats on the platforms. The station is mostly clean but there are no bins which encourages littering.
Not a manned station, so mobile tickets are one of your only options. The station is also a hotspot for troublesome youths and nothing gets cleaned. Cigarettes and alcohol bottles/cans everywhere. As stated in another review there is no wheelchair access to platform 1.
The station is not staffed, so you have to get your ticket on the train. Also if you are getting a northbound train there is no wheel chair access. Only stairs.
It’s an ok station it could get cleaned more and the down side is no wheelchair access and no toilets
I live in Ruabon and it is a peaceful place and very a close informative neighbourhood news travels fast its like neighbourhood watch on steroids.
