The restaurant food was excellent. The staff are helpful and friendly. They make one feel special. The room we stayed in was comfortable but a little cramped. However for a couple of nights stay was acceptable. It was the people that made our stay enjoyable and will happily stay there again. I highly recommend. Food & drinks: The chef and her kitchen staff were young. All were extremely talented. The food was brilliant. I hope the chef will stay for a while but is so good she may well be head hunted by a top restaurant. Whatever, I wish her well and I'm sure she will do well.
Staying for two nights. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with tea/coffee/hot chocolate supplied. Very welcome after a long drive and a stormy day. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant, and staff were lovely. Delicious, top quality snd unique. However, my hubby noticed a 7.5% service charge on the bill and was disappointed. The bill was £77 and he would have paid £90, but as service charge was added, he just paid that and so staff were short changed in the long run. Sometimes it’s better to leave it up to the customer….
Lovely small friendly hotel with lovely staff. Everywhere very clean. Deducted one star from rooms as the sink in the bathroom was the smallest possible but it only served to amuse us trying g to wash in it. Food was very good although the week menu could have one or two plainer/English dishes for our taste but that is purely personal.
What a little gem of a place. All the staff were, friendly, helpful and very efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was first class and beautifully presented. Compliments to the chef. Very comfortable accommodation in a lovely old building.Rooms: 5/5
My wife and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary at the Lemon Tree last night. Room 18. Absolutely faultless. One minor niggle from me was that the room was too warm even though the radiator was turned off. James, Sarah and the cook superb.Rooms: 5/5
Tim and I dined there last night for his birthday. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere, the staff are thoughtful and attentive and the food is delicious. We had a lovely time and would not hesitate to recommend a meal here. Thank you.Service: 5/5
Wonderful staff, the food is absolutely amazing- some of the best I've had in all the UK. Rooms are on the smaller size but perfect for our needs and the bathrooms have been upgraded. Walking distance to all the attractions in town.Rooms: 5/5
High standard of food, presentation, and service served here. Tables are spaced out, which is nice. Just too quick with the courses, we didn't have time enough time to rest time between each course. Prices are acceptable for the quality of food and service provided. Drinks are expensive. Haven't stayed in rooms, so I can't comment. Carpark is small.
Lovely hotel and staff , great location. We are leaving tomorrow and it has been a great place to stay while visiting our daughter. Ground floor room is a bonus for granny xx
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Rooms a little small but ideal location for town centre Walkability: Close enough to walk into Wrexham centre
