Went to this station in advance to our travels for assistance as we are Australian tourists. Wanted 2 adult tickets from Chester to Manchester Oxford Street station, wanted a specific time to travel. The woman printed out 4 tickets for us, told her we only wanted one way, she said it was included in the price and just to throw the returns away. Confirmed again our arrival station and departure time to which she respo ded that we could travel at any time on that day. Upon departing Chester Station we were told that we could not travel on the tickets provided to Manchester Oxford St, luckily we had time before the departure and so she refunded the tickets and reissued what we originally asked for BUT at an extra cost to us as we were no longer buying in advance but on the day of travel. Why didn't you listen and provide us with what we asked for. An extra cost and stress to us for your negligence. We purchase on Wednesday 14/08/2024 at approximately 2pm, a woman was in the ticket office so maybe you can figure out who this negligent woman was Completely clueless.

Really helpful friendly staff, clean and tidy station, has a lift, toilets are generally clean,nWe get off here to go to the hospital, very handy to get from the station to the hospial,
Wrexham train station, vintage and looks lovely. The staff are nice and will help you find the destination you require. There are lifts to help you if you can not use the stair. Cafe and to unwind after a long journey. Bus stop or taxi office out side the door to ferry you to your chosen destination. Maybe you have a friend waiting watch them waiting times. . 20 minutes free otherwise you will have a ticket for all day parking charges of over 4 pounds. Enjoy your travelling.
Pay and display parking all but outside the station and on the same level as the station. Level access from outside through main entrance to platform 1, up and over for platform 2.
