I visit here a few times a year and love it! Wonderful facilities for eating/drinking, excellent shop and wonderfully helpful staff. I often go alone and if I want some alone time it is perfect but also I can spend many an hour chatting with other visitors, it's that kind of place. The views are quite breathtaking as well!

Visited on a blustery winters day. Warm welcome from staff, great facilities and delicious food. Not the best weather to visit, but we did manage to see enough birds and walk round the reserve to make our visit worthwhile. Looking forward to going again soon.

A great little reserve, often has less usual birds visiting. Family-friendly, yet quiet corners too. Great cafe, but be aware that hot food finishes quite early - no toasted teacakes after 2:30...

I take my grandson to the muddy puddles group for under 4s every Wednesday. The volunteers who run the group are excellent. There are lovely walks around the reserve and things for children to look out for, he really enjoys watching the birds. We always end our morning in the cafe which is a delight in all weathers. We love this place!

Lovely little centre with friendly and very helpful staff, a playpark for kids and a little cafe and shop. Small-ish coastal reserve - 2 mile walk around circumference. Wader birds and duck species. Clean hides with helpful ID cards.
