I've given 4 stars only due to one member of staff called Kevin, he is rude and obnoxious everytime I go in to collect my post. He should not be in a customer service role. Other than him im very happy that they keep my post safe, as it was being stolen from the communal building I share. I've been very grateful to the 3 particular staff members that I've found very polite and helpful.
Time after time another attempted delivery, everytime I’m sat in the window expecting it, my bell works fine and I’ve got a good clear view up and down the road yet once again a text comes through ‘We just attempted to deliver your parcel’ fecking liars you haven’t been near my home
48hr tracked took 8 days to arrive. You'd be lucky to get anything on time from this office. Tracking means nothing. It turns up, when it turns up. I wish businesses wouldn't use Royal Mail. They don't deserve to operate in the market. Edit- Since leaving this review a few weeks ago, nothing has improved. I have had tracked 24, still not here after a week. It's been sat at Weston office for the last 3 days after taking 2 to get there in the first place. Also a tracked 48 which keeps saying it's out for delivery, but never arrives. I can't wait for Royal Mail to disappear!
I paid for 24hr delivery and my parcel arrived at Weston sorting office on Tuesday morning at 0746. I received the email saying it would be delivered on Tuesday so I stayed in. No parcel. It’s now Wednesday lunchtime and still no sign of it. Of course the parcel collection point is closed too, but last time this happened yes it’s happened before, I was told that I couldn’t collect a parcel until they had tried to deliver it and failed! I live less than 10 minutes walk away, I know where my parcel is but I can’t get it! You’re going to have to sort yourselves out Royal Mail !
Absolute shambles. I was waiting for a package when I got an email saying it would arrive later the same day but no time frame given. I had an appointment I couldn’t miss and my neighbours were out so I missed the delivery. I rearranged online for re-delivery the next day to my local post office as I wasn’t going to be in. Got a confirmation email so felt happy. A few hours later I got another email saying there was a problem with the re-delivery and I had to rearrange it again, but it wouldn’t let me. When I tried it said I’d already rearranged delivery and to check the confirmation email. This happened every time I tried, so the next day I got another red missed delivery card. It advised me to rearrange again, but I had the same problem online. So now the awful website has me stuck in a loop which won’t let me rearrange delivery. I downloaded their app but was no help so I guess I’ll have to go to Warne Road and hope for the best. So infuriating and frustrating. Royal Mail has really gone down the pan since the full privatisation. I hope it goes out of business so we don’t have to suffer their ineptitude anymore.
Really poor service. Every time I get something delivered by Royal Mail I have no expectation that their Tracked24 or 48 services will arrive on time. Latest one was 4 days late, after getting app notifications, emails and texts saying it will be delivered. I try where possible to use a paid service eg Evri, Dpd or anyone else if I can. Doesn’t help when the delivery office is only open between 8-10 either. It’s more reliable to get stuff delivered to my work address in Cardiff and when I go to the office twice a week just collect from there. The service updates in the app say these are temporary issues and they are getting support from management. Not sure when this will happen as it’s been over a year now
Useless, they are unable to follow simple instructions. At first I asked for my parcels to be kept at royal mail for collection. Instead they attempted delivery. I then asked Them to deliver to a family address. They then tried to deliver to my address again. They couldn't deliver as I was at work. Instead they put them in an alleyway outside my neighbours back gate. What was the brilliant thought process behind that? Would try to get any other courier to deliver.
What a joke, 48hr tracked service which I ended up collecting from the office. Still waiting on 2 parcels which havnt come but due to the stupid hours of 8am-10am for pucks up I can't get in due to being at work. So I'm inxa now win situation. I think businesses need to look at alternative delivery companies
What a shower! My parcel was taken back to Warne Road sorting office, so I have to go and collect it. Web says open from 8:00 till 4:00 on one Post Office site, on another link it says 8: till 10:. I get there 10:30 and surprise it's closed. So another journey tomorrow to try again.
I have no complaint about our lovely Postmen themselves who are working under ridiculous conditions of changed rounds which our Postmen did not want which have been made bigger with no extra time allocation meaning we often no longer get any mail for days, in fact we don't even see the van in our road. In this most recent instance we have not had any delivery for at least a week. The backlog of parcels is apparently horrendous. I have been waiting for a parcel since May 3rd, now I am some 9 days later with still no sign of it. Change for change sake is unhelpful for all concerned and this most recent initiative has not been in the least bit efficient. Disappointing.
