Absolutely useless. How difficult can it be to ensure refuse, recycling and green waste are collected on the promised days? This authority couldn't run a bath let alone a council.

These people are impossible to deal with. I cannot get to speak to anyone and no one rings me back. Extremely unprofessional, Unhelpful and very frustrating. They are very good at contacting me when they want money !!! Won’t help when your in trouble they send you a summons to add to your problems.

The worst council ever. No reaction to the people's problems, rule from unprofessional people. I can't wait to sell my house and leave. That council transformed one lovely country side area to BIG CITY. New houses every where without infrastructure. Traffic without normal size roads. Shame.

I'm so glad it's not only me who thinks that North Somerset Council are incapable of providing the services we all pay them for! Their website is diabolical and gives you none of the information you need and their phone lines are seemingly impenetrable. I moved to the area on 8 August, it's now 19 October and I'm still waiting for a correct Council Tax bill to arrive as well as two new recycling bins which I first asked for on 10 August. My complaints (stages 1 and 2) have both been ignored and I'm left having to complain to the Ombudsman - about waste receptacles...seriously NSC?? Oh and that's not the worst of it - they filed a letter. I had specially hand-delivered to their offices because it was so important without even reading it, let alone replying to it! Incredibly incompetent!

Visited Weston beach & having to pay 20p each time you need to go to the toilet is ridiculous. Why?? The toilets are not great along with the washing facilities. The water does not always work. I heard a family say to the children ‘pee in the sand as it costs nothing’ - says it all.
