The venue was fine, went to see the night sky show, very bright lights and pretty loud too, didn't see anything you can't find on YouTube, slightly humorous.
Always a great experience at the Royal Concert Hall but last night we experienced our first true orchestra at the venue and wow it sounded phenomenal! The acoustics were just awesome.
Regularly visit here. Never had a bad view. The staff are always pleasant and happy to help. Accessibility: The seats are at a good height and there is a lift. Tram stop right outside. Only downsides are the ladies toilets do get very busy and having to stand up for people to come out of the performances is annoying.
Lovely theatre, beautiful show. Dim cosy lighting, sold snacks and ice cream and toilets were easy to find.
I love live performances and the cast, set and direction in And Then There Were None, which my family and I saw last night were all brilliant. The only downside to a trip to the Theatre Royal is the lack of leg room. I'm fairly tall but nowhere near the 6 foot plus of everyone else in my party, who were 'folded' into their seats. My advice - book early and choose your seat carefully.
Went to see Blood Brothers and loved it. I've never really been a fan of musicals but this was so good with some really standout performances The actors playing Mrs Johnstone and the Narrator in particular. The theatre itself is a real beauty. It's old so you have to forgive its shortcomings such as the slightly uncomfortable seats. Staff were all lovely. Highly recommended for a good night out.
Went to see the simply George Michael tribute group21.6.24 and wasn't prepared for how good it was. Rob Lamberti really put on a great show and his backing singers and musicians only enhanced him There were a lot of returning fans and I will be joining them next time around..
Seen many concerts here recently. The venues have a great layout.Seeing a full orchestra play the concert hall is just magnificent. The sound is incredible! They have a very strict no phones policy so no distractions from glowing screens either.
Very comfortable. Doesn't appear to have a bad seat at all. Sound quality is excellent.
Great venue for shows, saw shrek last night and was fantastic.
