Stayed overnight on Friday 19th April with my partner. Lots of renovations going on at the moment, which made us even more impressed with all the staff we came into contact with, especially the lady working on the temporary reception desk, who was juggling lots of people and tasks smoothly when we arrived, and was really welcoming and friendly - a great ambassador for the hotel. I wish we had her name but she was on duty at 2pm that day when we arrived. Hotel was lovely, facilities all great, very nice comfortable room, great location, and perfectly placed to walk into town or grab a taxi/bus/tram. Thank you.
Great hotel with friendly and useful staff. Nice and comfy bed, with a thick fluffy mattress and pillows. The bathroom is big and modern, with a heated mirror to prevent fogging. The room also has a desk and chair, and an armchair.Rooms: 5/5
They hosted our Team for the Transplant Games. The breakfast was perfect daily and staff were accommodating and gave us a room to socialize in.Rooms: 5/5
Receptionist was nice and friendly, and another member of staff I came across was also polite. The room standard king was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning seemed to work well. There was work being done which did disturb me in the morning it was from 9am so not particularly early, but still would have been nice to relax in my room without loud drilling noises. All the drawers and cupboard doors were soft close except for the door- this really needs to be fixed because most people are not considerate enough to close their door quietly. I was disturbed when people went in and out of their rooms as their doors slammed. I'd probably stay here again once the refurbishment work is finished and if the above issues were also fixed.
The hotel very clean and modern, the staff are all very welcoming and the service is excellent, all staff members go out of their way to ensure you have the best stay, and nothing is too much trouble.Rooms: 5/5
Even though the restaurant is being renovated, it never affected the service & atmosphere in the hotel. The room was superb and kept very clean during my weeks stay. The temporary breakfast room was set up adequately and did not affect my eating experience. Highly recommended hotel. Staff were lovely.
Clean hotel considering undergoing a refurbishment of public areas. Parking is limited and on a few occasions couldn't park on site despite being a blue badge holder. The 2 double bedded rooms are small and storage space is less than we are used to. We didn't eat breakfast here. Quite costly at just over £60 for 2 adults with 2 children. We popped out very locally for a buffet breakfast at half the cost.
Nice hotel located very close to town centre. I was fortunate to be booked into an executive room. Loads of space and a very big comfy bed. Spotlessly clean throughout. Would definitely recommend.
Great hotel, stayed while we visited the Christmas market on the 9th Dec 2023, Ground floor room for myself & wife. room was clean & tidy, very comfy bed & had a great nights sleep. dinner & breakfast was very good & cooked lovely. if i was to say anything needed changing, would be the sofas at the bar, too soft that it makes you feel they are broken. All staff from check Inn to check Out was great. & very helpful / polite. i would stay here again. full top 5*
Extreamly friendly staff, lovely big rooms, food very nice to, would definitely stay again and would recommend Rooms: Double room, very big lots of walk around room with little table to eat at if you want room service
