Nottingham Playhouse has been one of the United Kingdom’s leading producing theatres since its foundation in 1948. Touring work nationally and internationally, the Playhouse remains firmly rooted in its vibrant home city, where its spacious modernist building – fronted by Anish Kapoor’s Sky Mirror – is one of the region’s most popular landmarks.

Wonderful to be back at the Playhouse last night. Audience experience was very well managed by the staff and felt safe. Great atmospheric performances by Mark Gatiss and Adrian Scarborough of ghostly stories. We'll be back, we hope so much.
Lovely place in beautiful surroundings. Playful sculpture mirror outside too. Bar and restaurant good prices and selection.
A great venue. Very large, comfortable seats with good views of the stage. It is fairly large but feels intimate. We saw the opening show of Johnny Ball and found it a really good experience thanks to the venue.
Saw 'Bubble' on Friday. Social distancing well planned and managed by the staff. The play was great.

Went to see sleeping beauty pantomime. Every bit as fantastic as I'd hoped. Our party of seven people aged from 3 to 72 were all laughing throughout. Such a great family occasion. Well done to all staff and the amazing cast
