Always a great visit with kids. Lovely cafe, great park, good facilities and usually some interesting displays or exhibitions. Only issue is parking can be tight but it is free at least!Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
This area offers absolutely stunning facilities. As a child, I didn’t appreciate the full extent of the area. Although, as an adult I love the view of the University of Nottingham, the boating lake, the overwater steps, the walking path, the hills, the children’s parks and activities plus the Lakeside Arts. It is a great place to relax, study and bring the family.
Lakeside Arts hosted the Broadway cinema in doing an outdoor cinema experience. It's was brilliant, cosy in my camp chair with nibbles and drinks with my friends.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
I and my kids 10 and 6 years old love this place. We come quite often as there is so much to do : art, performance, playground, outside golf, place to relax, and have a nice walk. We love the atmosphere around Lakeside art and inside it:Visited onWeekendReservation recommendedNo
Enjoyed, small quiet museum with artefacts, various exhibitions, and shop. Nice little cafe at both buildings. Very busy at the theatre. Good for families, a park, mini golf and a walk around or a go on the boating lake. Oh, and for anyone that interested this is where one of the 'Afterlife' bench is located.
A Beautiful, Scenic, well-maintained park. We went on hot summers day and it was absolutely packed! We decided to do the boating this time £5 per person for 1 hour. The queue goes down a lot quicker than you think. The ice cream van queue doesn’t seem to change but it does go down, promise. Mr Whippy still doing his thing. A great place to for a walk. Lots of couples, family and friends out and about. A pleasant walk around the ground, even for those with limited mobility. The worst part about this park is trying to find parking. I’d advise getting the tram , it lands right outside the park and it’s inexpensive. Definitely worth a visit.
My 8 year old loved the Asbestos inflatables and enjoyed interacting with the sculptures. One of the male staff took a photo of us in front of one, thanks. We love Lakeside, the lake, the cafes and the children's events/ theatre we go to on a regular basis. A round trip of 50 miles for us,but worth it. We also travel by tram Park & Ride.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
I remember taking my 2 girls here, yesterday, I was taking their Children, my granddaughters here. Still as beautiful now has it was then.
Great day out for youngsters with plenty of activities to entertain. The playground could do with several more picnic benches though. 2 is nowhere near enough! Parking us very much at a premium though.
I am lucky to be able to visit this collection of galleries and perform spaces frequently. I prefer the acoustics of the Recital Hall to the Theatre, but the theatre has a greater capacity. I find the staff all very helpful and the diverse range of exhibitions interesting.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
