I visited the Royal College of Music to watch an afternoon of performances by the Students, one of whom is a friend of my daughter. The setting and the building is fantastic, there are a whole bunch of performance venues scattered around the building, some larger and some very inimate. And the performances? So professional, I was really impressed
First time back since Covid this time for a private recital by a very talented organist. Back again on 25/11/22 in the Britten Theatre first time since 27 Nov 2019. Wonderful production by the Opera singers. Last night of this year's Opera production 25/11/23.
Very snobby people. They’re the poster child for while Karl Marx and the Leninists wanted to hang the bourgeoise. If you want actual music, go to the royal academy. Last time I came past, it sounded like 5 prepared pianos being dropped from a great height. Can’t wait for Imperial to buy this useless plot of snobbery and use it for something impactful, like science and cancer research, not bourgeoisie exclusionary behaviour and an over glorified doorman.
Well deserved fame for top ranking education. Congratulations to students and tutors. The concerts given by the students at St Mary Abbots Church of Kensington have been particularly impressive and inspiring.
An amazing institution with incredible facilities and brilliant concerts.
Definitely the best music college in the world that feeds learning potential. Worldwide famous composers ,singers and musicians. It’s such lovely place to sing in.
Indeed one of the top music college in the world! World class faculty and cozy facilities!!
An absolute gem of London, manages to be a dignified old temple to classical music while at the same time being contemporary, aided in part by their fantastic new-ish courtyard cafe, also has an excellent free museum
Came for an audition. They kept getting my name wrong even though it was written in front of them, and I was not allowed the appropriate warm-up time they were running behind... not my fault. The accompanist kept making mistakes, throwing me off-rhythm and off-key during my audition. This was my 2nd audition in 4 years for various academic courses and both experiences have been similarly poor. Will not be retuning. written on behalf
A great place. Excellent Junior Department for high standard performers. Jazz a good focus here if not yet main focus of degree courses. Enjoy the concerts.
