Just a great day out, fantastic collection of aircraft in three giant hangers. Loads to see and an education for kids and adults. Only charge is for parking, so no entrance fee to the museum. Very knowledgeable staff who are only to happy to answer your questions on any of the exhibits. Nice cafe, fare selection of food, reasonably priced. Easy access from motorway, can highly recommend it.

A fantastic collection of military aircraft from WWI through to the end of the Cold War. Beautifully prepared and presented. Indoor and out. Great learning zone for the kids (and adults). History throughout. No entry fee. Lovely cafe and gift shops. Places to park your bike - the cafe is a frequent stopping place of cyclists. Parking is charged but plenty of spaces.

Even after all of the 5 star reviews I was surprised just how good it was. Easy to find and get to, loads more there then we expected and great value. We'll worth donation a few pounds (not that anyone asks you to, it's just a box you can donate to if you want) so they can keep on sharing the joy of aviation. Exhibits are easily accessible and give a great view on major historic periods like the Cold War as well as having the best display of aircraft I have ever seen. A great family day out with lots to do for kids including some cool science displays.

Amazing place and only had to pay for parking. Full of fun facts and lots to keep the kids (including the big kids) entertained. My 5 and 2 year old especially liked the interaction parts along with the 4d ride (chargeable) and simulator (chargeable). Will definitely be returning and we highly recommend.

Absolutely LOVE this place! Fantastic exhibits, children's area where they can learn about flight etc, a 4D experience and flight simulator. There are also 2 gift shops and a café all reasonably priced. It is free to enter although you are asked to make a donation. Always have a great time here even though I've been countless times.
